Lord Sion looked Archimedes over with contempt. "You need orders?" He smiled. "Come." Walking out and down the hallway towards the kitchens. "You are Varions second in command are you not? How would you like to become its commander?"

Versh threw Cawrei a new robe. "Wear." He then turned to Gizmo. "You can use the neumerical imaging device in the corner." He pointed to the computer.

"Commander is indeed a fetching title, and it is about time that a competant strategist and warrior was put in charge." He straightened up and realized what he had just said. "Sorry for those comments, but they were neccessary."

"I understand, no worry. I will ask you to temporarily serve under Versh, pending his report, you will be given that title and the city of Varion." (Hazmat RP or Cold Planet.) The Council walked into the small dining room. "I am giving you one-hundred troops to command. Proove your worth to Versh and its yours." He sat at the table. A servent strolled up.

She heard the words that Archimedes spoke and she mumbled quietly to herself.
"Competence is a term of relativity. Lets hope hes an exception among the humans"

Cawrei folded her wings in and pulled her small horns and tail back some. She pulled the robe over her body with a nodd and wrapped her whip around like a belt. Before pulling the hood over her head, she smiled at the crowd. She pulled over her head and her face was covered in a dark shroud.

<<obviously, several hours will have passed since my last post.>>

Cerberus sat in the back of his cave, the smoldering ashes of his once-proud fire now the dimmest of light sources to illuminate the night. He looked around, starting to feel a little cold as the darkness grew ever darker, the chill night air dimming the ashes moreso by the passing hour. He'd been saved. In a Resistance prison break-out. By a member of the Council's loyalists... He shook his head again, trying to shake his confusion at the thought. Perhaps there had been some ulterior motive? Or perhaps he was losing his mind. Regardless, he opened his holo-comm and turned on the photo gallery, searching for a picture of Rika. Once again, he found nothing. He knew there was none, though the troubling thought was one he chose to ignore. "Damn. I'm trying, Rika... I really am..." The last sparks died out, and he shut off the device, knowing he should try to rest up before the morning's dawn brought troubles from the enemy.

The guard squad, captained by Alez Vortan, a black haired, blue eyed, human, dressed in the guard squad armor plating, he had a blue cloak that billowed in the light breeze.

He had been given specific orders to search the surrounding lands. So far they had lost two men of ten to the various creatures, and the scout team ahead kept forgetting to report in. Along with the look out for creatures, captain Alez's squad was searching for the local rebel camps. He had a headache that the storm brewing above didnt help. It was still dark, yet, early morning was threatening to light the clouds above. Alez winced as the first blolt of blinding white flashed across the black sky, followed by the rumbling sound that seemed so alien in the peace of night.

Soon the rain began, accompanied by the rumble sound and occasional flashes of thunder and lightning. The rained turned heavy and formed small puddles into mini lakes and caused Alez to order his squad into shelter in a local cave system. Staying at the entrance not daring to venture further in due to the monsterous ceatures that inhabited the cave.

(....quiet here....)

General Olen looked haply between his two Captains. "Gentlemen please. The resistance would not be able to stir up the people of Farsnek, because the council, especially Commander Versh and Lord Sion are well respected and the council is not viewed as the atrosious thing it is."

"What I' saying is that if the Resistance manages to start a movement against the Government in power, Farsnek would fall first."

Olan shook his head. "Unlikely. Whe the council falls Farsnek will not be affected at all, what with Commander Versh running things so smootly, I wouln't be suprised if we became part of our own independant Empire. We already have our own militia."

The two captains nodded in agreement and were the last to leave the briefing.

Rika sighed and sat in her cot. She missed her lover/brother (forgot which one) greatly. "I know Lord Vrix, but from where...?" She pondered aloud. "Childhood, yes. He was my lovers/brothers friend. Ohhh Jacen why did you turn bad on us. Joining the council six years ago shocked us all."

A guard approached. "You ok my lady, doyou require food, a walk perhaps, some reading material..."

One thing, they treated prisoners like guests. "Some food would be nice, then a walk."

"I'll see what I can do." He bowed and walked of talking silenty into the com.
