Cabas hails the planet, stating who he is and where he is. He briefly describes what has caused the bright fiery explosion in the sky and what is currently going on just above the atmosphere. He requests any assistance that can be sent immediately.

Good hopefully we can get reinforcements to end this quickly.

At the very least help keep the slaves safe.

Please like you care for them. You just want to make sure your mess is cleaned up.

Next Cabas sends a message to Coruscant, informing the Jedi Council briefly that Loola has been rescued but that it has been discovered that Friste has fallen to the Dark Side and is in the process of escaping.

Finally, he sends a message to Almania, indicating that Loola has been rescued.

Outside, Svidrigailov is trying to line up his shots on the slave-filled transport, but Trax's flying skills are putting on some heavy pressure! He is forced to stay evasive as his shields take the brunt of each attack. Hoondan has the turret online and is trading shots with Friste, who is operating another turret. The blasts flicker off the shields, rocking the ship slightly.

Once again Xavier is reminded of how helpless he is. He does not have any skills to help in this matter.

He is as worthless as he was in the fight against Friste.

Cabas powers down the comms unit.

"This has become quite an ordeal," he says, seating himself beside you. He cradles his mutilated limb, having torn off a bit of his robe to wrap the cauterized area where Friste's lightsaber went through his arm at a diagonal angle.

"This could have been avoided. So many lives have been ended or put at risk through the use of a slave rebellion to overthrow Svidrigailov. I sense he will not escape, but more may die by his hand today. And Friste..."

"Friste will not defeat me again, Master."

"You will not face him alone. To do so again... I sensed great anger in you when you fought him. It is a dangerous emotion, Xavier. Suppress it!"

"I shall, Master, and we shall take him together."
Xavier holds out a hand.

Cabas grabs it with his only hand and grips it firmly. But his expression seems sad.

"Master I sense your mind is filled with Sadness?"

You cannot sense it; Cabas has a very firm mind. It is difficult to sense what he is feeling. But the momentary expression of sadness is replaced by his usual crumpled expression.

"No, my apprentice," Cabas says. "I am fine, but in pain. My arm..."

He unbounds it. The cauterization has started to scab and crack, just below the elbow.

Xavier peers at his Master's horrid wound. It must be painful, as is his.

"I'm sure it can be mended Master?"

"It can," Cabas says. "For now, I must ease the pain."

Loola returns at this moment with a medpack. At Cabas' insistence, she applies bacta to the lascerations across your thighs first. She presses clean dressings over them to assist in the healing process. It stings for a moment, Xavier, but the pain begins to subside.

While waiting, Cabas uses Meditation and Invigorate to stave off the pain of his significant injury and heal 13 points from his damage. Once you are set, Loola binds his wounds with bacta pads to help it heal cleanly.

Master Cabas is so in tuned with the Force. Something Xavier has never managed to do.

"Thank you very much, Loola."

It requires great concentration and attunement to the Light Side of the Force.

Outside the transport, Svidrigailov is losing in his efforts to evade Trax's and Hoondan's gunfire. The heavy cannons of the transport strike his shields fiercely, but finally one of Trax's shots breaches the transport's shields. The lasers burn into Svid's rear thruster, damaging them. The next shot strikes harder and disables it. The civilian transport ahead of him is clear to escape, while Svidrigailov starts diving down into the atmosphere to escape Trax.

This is it. It is time to stop them once and for all.

With limited control over the ship, Svidrigailov pilots his transport down into the atmosphere of Varloucant with Trax giving chase.

"Master Jedi, scanners have picked up another starship entering the system," Trax says over the comms. "I'll transmit the hologram to the comm unit in there..."

A hologram of the Ravaging Claw appears, the large scouting vessel under Svidrigailov's employ that you dealt with earlier.

Meanwhile, the slaves are prepared to make the jump to hyperspace... in the direction that the Ravaging Claw is approaching.
