Lets find discrimination!
You know, for fun.
It's pretty Fraging disgusting. Let's see.Lightray, a white male character who nobody uses and who hasn't been seen or heard from in ages, got a huge, six-or-seven panel, impressive fight over the skyline of Metropolis before plunging messily to the ground and imparting some kind of power to Jimmy before dying.
Grayven, a white male bad guy who nobody's heard of and nobody cares about, got an issue devoted to some powerful characters having trouble beating him, followed by a full panel death in which he identified his attacker and made ready to fight before getting blown away.
Black Racer, a black male character who's key to the mythos, got killed off-panel. The first time we see him in this story is as a corpse.
Knockout, a gay female character who's been a major part of several recent storylines and is part of one of exactly two healthy lesbian relationships in the entire DCU, had a HEY LOOK SHE'S A LESBIAN LOOK AT HOW GAY SHE IS scene, followed immediately by her begging for her life while hanging over the edge of a building by her hair and then dying.
Big Barda, a white female character and the only one of the New Gods who has an active series, who is probably the main New God after Darkseid and Scott Free in terms of popularity, recognition, and people who give a shit about her existence, was killed off-panel. In the kitchen. And between panels, in a move that completely preludes any possibility whatsoever of a fight. Scott, her husband, then goes on a four-panel freakout with an entire splash page included about her death. Yes, you read that right: Zero panels devoted to Barda's death, two pages devoted to her husband's reaction to it.
Orion, a white male New God, is still alive, and looks to be one of the heroes of the piece.
Metron, a white male New God, is still alive, and looks to be one of the heroes of the piece.
Scott Free, a white male New God, is still alive, and looks to be one of the heroes of the piece.
Darkseid, a... okay, well, he's grey, but he's a male New God and will be one of the heroes of the piece.
Of these four, only one will survive, but the other three will absolutely be important to the crossover and contribute to the solution, either of the mystery or the murders themselves, before getting kakked.
