In the DCU universe the authorities wont change the law so Joker can get executed despite the fact he continually breaks out of jail and mass murders. Steel a genuis cant figure out that Clark Kent is Superman. Stating what characters think in DCU isnt always good proof when they are made to behave in a certain way for the plot.

there is the death penalty in the DCU. joker simply keeps getting found insane rather than being a pre-meditated murderer.

steel has known for YEARS that superman is clark kent, and he figured it out long before clark told him.

Doesnt change anything. Anybody with common sense knows that he should be executed regardless.

why? he's insane. clinically insane, so therefore can't be held responsible for all his actions. he's sick. not saying he shouldnt be executed, but that's the way the law is.

clark has one of the best disguises in dc. people don't figure it out straight away for a good reason.

no, not just glasses. everything. his voice, his personality, his clothes. clark kent is an actual part he plays.

plus, there's the mountain of times he and superman have been seen together (through martian manhunter or superman robots). people who have met both have accepted that there's a likeness, but they're so different that people never believe they're the same person.

lex luthor was once told straight up that clark was superman, and refused to believe it simply because he believed superman would never act like a human.

most people who see superman see that he doesn't wear a mask, and trust him. they don't believe that he NEEDS a secret identity.

You're missing the point. DCU socitey is like that because the writers need them to behave in a certain way for the plot. No rational society would keep Joker alive.

i heard you the first time. and i don't agree. yes, writers need joker not to die, but they've also gone to lengths to explain why he hasn't been executed.

1. he's insane, and is considered a mental patient.

2. no police force can hold him long enough to execute him, even if they wanted to.

Already explained that the law would be changed. That explanation is not valid no rational person would allow the Joker to live, they use that excuse because its a fictional universe.

it's also the law in many, many countries. changing the law for one criminal is rarely if ever going to happen. they're supposed to be capable of holding him, which they would be if he wasn't so damned smart.

they're going to hold a trial, convict him, sentence him and execute him all in a few days?

The Joker is rare in fact nobody on earth is like him. Something tells me hes going to be one of the rare circumstances.

For starters I think hes been there longer than that, also its no wonder that he breaks out so often when you frequently see him being imprisoned using normal security, which shows again how irrational they are.

They have God tech in the DCU and all types of stuff and its going to be hard to reach a verdict.

edit: Hell it doesnt have to go that far they could sanction that if Joker resists arrest that he sould be shot on site ( by superheroes or cops).

What issues did these happen in?

just a little comment on sbp from what i can see he's like vulcan from marvel (more like vulcan is like him) he has anti-social personality disorder. thinks like morality and other people don't factor into the equation for them. They are selfishness personified. And are evil to the core, they have no problem killing , or terrorizing the people they say they love. Prime's rational for everything he does was his parents and girl friend and while we don't know what he did to laurie we do know that it was something so bad his parents became obedient slaves in fear of it happening to them. sooooooooo what ever emo - prime thought he was he's always been a villain, and a good one to use.
