Yoda VS Darth Sidious in Episode III

I hope Yoda gets to fight Darth Sidious in Episode III.

Darth Sidious cloning himself is (EU) in Dark Empire I, II, and III. I'm sure GL will come up with something interesting.

I think it would be kinda lame. They both live, we know that. Unless we have some ROTJ-type Dooku returns to Light-side and saves Yoda (which would be pretty lame), one of them would die in that fight.

Dooku is bad and has no reason to turn back, which would only cheapen Anakin;s ROTJ plot.

I always though Yoda would fight Sidous but how would they make it different to Yoda v Dooku?

No idea; I am not sure how much they can push the Wizard's Battle idea. If it is a creative nightmare it may be dropped for that very reason.

Yeah, but that's not really reliable... the heart of the Empire is personalities (Tarkin, Vader, The Emperor) and I would imagine that that if Yoda is stronger than all fo them then the project would be REAL hard to get off the ground.

Maybe Yoda had some kind of vision that "prevented" him from chopping Vader, Palpy, and all the rest of the baddies into Dark Side Midichlorians. Maybe he had a vision that someone sometime 20 years after the events of Episode III, a young man would be reared by a long-lost Jedi Master who would die on some ominous space station to help him escape so he could eventually train with Yoda (hint hint).

Well ok we all know that Yoda may have been more powerful than Vader, Palpy, and Dooku combined...but remember, he does have a deep connection w/ the Force and may have seen the demise of any hope for the Republic had he chopped up Vader, Dooku, and Palpy into microscopic lifeforms.
