Uh..Duke Nukem Forever?

I guess its not potty humour but I still don't find it funny. It's lame. Pretending its early 90's again is not good.

Unless the game blows people away, I think people are going to be really disappointed with it because it's just going to be another shooter.

Well it is Duke, and he is known for that. He seems to be aimed at the generation who played him, while using the tools of newer technology.

Most seem to anticipate it. If someone doesn't like it, that's cool too. It looks fun to me.

But really Duke set the standard between 3d interaction with the environment that other games are known for. Especially shooter types.

And there too many strong silent/Serious characters these days for shooters besides the recent Bulletstorm game.

Humor doesn't equal quality in FPS's.

I find Vanquish a better more over the top game than this.

Humor equals humor, quality equals quality. Most FPS games are cookie cutter anyways. So even if it were decent with the humor it would be better than average. Nonethless we'll have to see just how well it holds up.

Well it certainly has for Duke 3D and look how long thats lasted well maybe more for the PC crowd then console players.

Duke Nukem revolutionized the shooter genre, it had more than "humor" going for it.

So i did my 'Balls Of Steel' preorder today.

I mean over-the-top craziness is what Duke is about, that's what made it awesome. They only help the hype. I think people are butthurt about it because they wanted it to come out so long (see above), much like the PS3 cost at launch. So they just go against it.
