Could you please have the set the upcoming remake of "The Warriors" in New York, set in the 70s or now, but with the following elements in mind to prevent it being "The Italian Job" remake all over again:
Calls across the city somehow messed up, leading the DJ to be the central nexus of the flow of information between gangs still..
It be in New York after something happens there that plunges the delicate balance between gangs (bigger numbers)and cops (Smaller numbers) over, so the gangs can hunt the Warriors in an unhindered fashion.
Keep all concept artists off the movie, who have been big proponents of 'Baycorp glossy shiny place all the time' shooting and favour instead someone known for bring the beauty out of dark, gritty environments.
Keep Jason Statham off of the movie (Unless he wants to cameo as a Baseball Furies bat with his accurate wooden acting).
Same basis of the 80s soundtrack no matter when its set, but with other tunes from other times to lend it a timeless feeling..
All scoring of the incidental music to be performed on the same 70s synth that produced the Carpenter/Brad Fieldel like music originally.
(Like Vangelis did with his recentish expanded Blade Runner suite.)
Also if you could do a remake of Indy IV but written by non baboons...thatd be awesome too.
