Indys death

Ive been thinking about this, cause a good question it is....

And also the concept of any higher controlling power denies everyone responsiblity, if there is no free will. So if the 'miracle' is assumed to be divine in origin, then is that not guilty of the same thing..?

So my countering question would be...

Are there any things that you would call a miracle, without the connotation that a controlling being isnt responsible...?

Because that'd amount to the abdictation of responsibility for anything at all in life if someone was calling all the shots, wouldn't it...?

Which brings us neatly back to the classified "Matter of perception" thing.

Not necessarily. A miracle would be a one time, unprecedented and unrepeatable event. The positive version of sh!t happens if you will. It's not like miracles are the make up of everyday life.

All actions have effect. Does one take responsilibillity for the effects of one's own actions or do you always use the matter of perception concept to blur one's own contribution to an event. Or even to events you are officialy responsible but did not cause it personally?

You just described what I would call a freak occurance, for sure...

You gotta realise the effect of your actions, yeah.

We are all just a part of one big system.
Some day its your turn most other days, its someone elses.

I like Freddy Mercury of Queen's take on things:

"Every drop of rain that falls in sahara desert says it all
Its a miracle
All gods creations great and small
The golden gate and the taj mahal
Thats a miracle
Test tube babies
being born
Mothers,fathers dead and gone
Its a miracle

Were having a miracle on earth
Mother nature does it all for us
The wonders of this world go on
The hanging gardens of babylon
Captain cook and cain and able
Jimi hendrix to the tower of babel
Its a miracle its a miracle its a miracle
Its a miracle

The one thing were all waiting for is peace on earth - an end
To war
Its a miracle we need - the miracle
The miracle were all waiting for today."

Most of teh things he mentions aren't really miracles though...

(my, have we gone serious... when did that happen?)

Again. Depends on your perspective.

A lot match by your stated definitions too.

Actually, that kinda confirms what I said. A perspective is also a great excuse to ignore what someone says. 😉

If thats how the person would naturally view it, then I guess so. 😛

And it goes on... 😂

lolz

Indeed. 😛

From your point of view of course.

Exactly.

Why?

Why?

Exactly.

Why?

Indeed, why?

And why indeed...?

Because?

Of the cause.

Why?
