oooooooooooohhhh, i didn't realize you were talking about such an ace and high standard film...lol. it may be a 30second scene, but that end bit where they walk down the road in slowmo is iconic

EPIC!

And the titles... yes, folks, I have to drop in a bit of quality before I go mad and shoot myself.

You refer to his recent works...?

I loved Inglourious Basterds, yes.

Thought it was very overhyped and overlong.

But still WAY better than the absolutely f***ing abysmal "Deathproof".

not seen that, don't really intend to...Inglorious Bastards looks good...

Death Proof is so bad that it would make you want to end it all.

I actually prefer Battlefield Earth.

Now, now... the dialogues in Death Proof were better. Too long, crap movie, but at least some lines were nice. And I prefer Russell over Travolta.

I personally didn't think IG was too long. I think it took a lot of balls to make a movie like that, with the excellent languages and the subtleties used in those.

Yeah but Russell was hardly in the thing. It just seemed like 8-9 hrs of listening to pretentious twats sit round discussing the most inane coversational topics on earth and presenting their lines in the manner of some bad Tarantino impression, chiefly because the characters were all written to sound like vocal clones of Tarantino.
Both groups of women deserved thouroughly to be brutally murdered onscreen, for their crimes of timewasting in cinema and only one was.

I cant take the full uncut version man. Thats what I saw, and it melted my brain beyond recognition and destroyed forever the previous classification of greatness of Tarantino past that point.

The other half of that Grindhouse double, Rodriguez's Planet Terror was WAY better.

We agree totally on Grindhouse.

Plante Terror is splendid. Death Proof is twice the same boring talky movie... and the talks are boring.
