No. I'm talking about THE Doomsday clone in Wonder Woman that was stronger than the original doomsday. It was drawing power from the entire city's grid. It was so strong that it kept up a fight with WOndy and Herculese at the same time.

Are you misinformed? BA had an upgrade during his fight with all the world's heroes. And yet his face still got melted. Nice try. And BA was even steven becuz Superman always holds back.

Yeah and there's nothing wrong with upgrading him back to being the top guy he was suppsoed to be in the first place before all the downgrades. And character depth, plenty from what I've seen.
Superman wins this. I'd say he and Black Adam are about equal or close enough in the powers they both have. Actually, BA had the rage going for him in WWIII but when Superman got his powers back, he also got an upgrade. Superman has the heat vision and other powers besides the ones he and BA both have.

So yes I do read Superman and quite frankly as many of you know I do greatly dislike the character and willing admit I am biased but stand that it is for good reason and still challenge someone to prove what I say as wrong with more than just claiming the character is deep without reason and just mass iconic worship!
Its a simple truth: Not everybody likes every character. Personally, I really like Superman because he represents sort of the real guy, married, raising a child sort of, and so on. Other readers find it too mundane. Its just we are all different people. We can read the same thing and one person finds it exciting while another finds it dull.
I also love what's being done with BA and for the opposite reasons, because he represents total insanity so to speak, the character who meant well but has gone totally off the deep end and will do anything to accomplish his goal.

So please tell me whats deep? Where is this supposed depth you've found that I am apparently obliviously to? You keep saying he's got it but have yet to point it out. Other than just stating it.
Simply stating Superman is deep doesn't make it so!
Personally, I liked his stories even more when the writers accepted how powerful he was and just wrote stories that didn't hinge on a fight scene. It seems in the Post-COIE era, his stories became about how everybody who came along was almost as powerful as he was and brawl ensues. I think Superman stories need to be complex and good because they cannot hinge on whose more powerful.
