Wild-Cherry
Make me want it.
Sephiroth had been making his way to his magical arts class when, with a loud clack that echoed through the halls, the lights were shut off and the corridor in which he walked fell pitch black. He closed his eyes then. his instincts flowed through immediatly, and he prepared himself for an attack from the rear as he heard footsteps softly closing in behind him. when he measured the approachers....two of them....as only afew steps back, he whirled around, just as the lights came back on. In front of him stood a curious looking lioness and her warthog acompless, it seemed. Sephiroth lifted two fingers to his brow, and let out a deep sigh. Perhaps he was too up tight. Then that annoying voice - which Sephiroth had tried unspeakably hard to get out of his mind - echoed over the intercom.
A theif? Here? the first day?
He grumbled a curse, which was interrupted when the lioness grunted. A worried look crossed her face. The warthog seemed to be drained of color.
" What the hell is wrong with you two? "
Sephiroth asked, letting his curiosity get the best of him.
" That book..." Nala Responded.
" The book of secrets! " Puumba chimed in nervously.
" Trust me, you don't want it to fall into the wrong hands. It means trouble for all of us. " Nala said , gazing up at Sephiroth.
" Well 'all of us' certainly doesn't include me. I've never even heard of-"
Nala cut him off.
" Many haven't. That changes nothing. The 'secrets' exposed may start out harmless enough, but I fear that, in the wrong paws, things will be discovered...and revealed that no one should know. Things that could put people in danger. Even if you don't know the book...it knows you. "
With that, Nala bowed her head, the regal lioness within showing heavily in this pressing time, and began to walk with Puumba in tow. Sephiroth stood, a bit dumbfounded. If this was-real-there where a lot of things that could...
" Shit. "
He wheeled around then, looking toward the lioness.
" Wait! "
Nala turned around, looking a bit surprised. Puumba cocked his head.
" What for? "
Sephiroth lowered his head, slipping his teeth over his lip in frustration of having to associate himself with these blatant fools, and then looked up slowly.
For me, idiot.
Nala growled deeply, and Sephiroth sighed.
" I...I ...I'm sorry, just take me to where this 'book' you speak of was stolen. alright?! "
Nala smiled, and closed her eyes, lowering her head.
" Come. "
