That'd be a lot. 😂

Hehehe, yes, it certainly would.

he was no longer Sith, he died a Jedi.

We were wondering about the alternative, had he lived after chucking down Palpy, killed Luke and continued as a Sith.

but thats the whole reason he chucked Palpy, he was no longer a Sith, so the only other alternative was to let Palpy kill Luke, then continue as a Sith.

Which is what we were discussing. They both had to die.

Anyway, I think it's evident that Vader had plans to kill Palpy and be Sithian father and son.

I am sure most Sith do.

doesnt matter what his plans were, what matters is that he did what he did, and in the end, he fulfilled the prophecy, and he died a Jedi.

Err yes.. well, that kinda puts the debate down... thanks, R.

Wow, thanks indeed.

Great contribution.

lets say that Vader hadn't died as he did, lets say he chucked Palpy, but Luke got him to a medical facility and saved him. I just can't imagine him going back to being a Sith after all that.

No, he probably wouldn't.

No... I don't think so. Not after losing from Luke. I think the thing that did it was Luke NOT killing Vader.

Yes, that was a rather bold move...in front of two Sith Lords, putting your guard down...

Rather bold, perhaps unwise even. But very idealistic. It made his father turn though I think he did it to save his own soul.

Yes, so that he could join OB1 and Yoda as a spirit I guess on the lightside.

Something like that. Or to be able to look himself in the eyes... in an afterlife mirror.

They have those now?

or maybe he realized the severity of his actions for the last twenty odd years.
