Monarch thought with the first big blast that he took out Prime. He was wrong and the battle commenced. He needs the containment suit to harness all the unstable energy but Prime being the badass that he is ripped it off thus ending the fight. Monarch released all that unstable energy not by design but by Prime ripping his suit off. Monarch cant walk around and just blow up universes. If he could do this easily why would he need an army? 😂
it wasnt a win on prime's part he caused monarch to release some energy that by no means makes me believe he is more powerful than monarch. Prime would loose if monarch was to use all the power at his disposal for one reason alone, up till now prime's power levels wer above everyone he faced so even though he was much more limited in what he could do he could just wade right through it like the juggernaught, monacrh just shed off more power in the explosion than prime has ever had, emo faces someone with far greater power and far greater versitilty, but ofcourse he's not gonna get stomped all over the place cause that wont sell the way dc wants

fragmentit's not even his initial suit, Captain Atom's Dislustal Suit is by far more invulnerable, so the fact that Prime managed to rip the Atomic knights Monarch suit, is not that big of a deal.

The bottom line is this was a stalemate in favor of Prime because he was the one who actually ended this epic battle. Lets wait and see what remains of these two characters in Countdown and until the meet again I stand firm that Prime had the edge in this stalemate.

Your entitled to that opinion, because realisitcally. It was a stalemate, and the only reaon you're saying Prime had the edge is because he ripped his suit off. No biggy, I'll be more apt to argue should the fight progress.

You couldnt see any damage and Monarch thought he was dead. 😂Prime didn't really hurt Monarch, he just ripped his suit, unleashing his energy, that doesn't quite count as a victory amigo...Superman has an aura which for the most part prevents his suit from being damaged, it's a well known fact that was established in the early 90's naturally this applies to prime as well. srug Argueing this is like argueing the scans from the WWH v.s Sentry fight...
After re-reading the scans, it's pretty obvious Monarch was holding back. If he's packing enough heat to take out all life in a universe and only dropped a city destroying blast on Prime he obviously wasn't cutting loose full tilt. He could have destroyed the planet if he wished. He underestimated how durable Prime was and got caught off guard and wound up getting a hole torn in his suit which breached his containment. He's likely not even dead.
