Annihilation Wave was better than Sinestro Corps. Both are great stories though.
🤨 Seriously, are you that much of a biased marvel troll?
Sinestro Corp War is better than almost anything Marvel has put out in the past 2 years.
AW is only good when compared to the disaster that was Civil War. It's a good story, but great? Hardly. 🙄
Quesada should bow down and pray for writers like Geoff Johns.

Anyway, I thought Annihilation was great... I guess I'm a bias Marvel troll as well. I loved the story more than anything that came out of Marvel in the last... 20 years. IMO (notice, IMO. And I say that because it is my opinion, and you can't tell me how to think), I think it stacks up to SC War. Do I have an opinion of which one is better? Not at the moment. However, it did incorporate many of my favorite characters from Marvel, and made them main events. I even walked out with some new love, and respect for some characters that were brought into a main event, with no previous encounters of a scale that big, and were made into stars. Who did you walk away with newfound respect for? Yat? Lulz.
And again, IMO, Marvel took bigger chances with smaller characters. They didn't bring in brand new characters, or recently introduced characters... they brought in pieces of shit no one gave a rats ass about before the event, and whether or not they sold shit all, they made them the main events. Annihilus? Nova? Ronan? Super Skrull?
Compare their popularity to Superboy Prime, the GL's, Anti-Monitor, Cyborg Superman, Sinestro, and kill yourself (no... I mean it).
Of course, chances don't make a story great, but when they take that many chances, and still sell copies like no tomorrow (nevermind that it was a good read), there's got to be something up...
And yes, call me a bias Marvel troll, call me whatever you want, but unless I'm conformist, and don't see something that's there, I'll be damned if I ever take your ass load of butt juice above my thoughts.

This coming from the dc fanatic. I mean seriously this is a matter of opinion so since I like Annihilation Wave better you find fault in it. I mean come on this is all opinion and shouldnt be argued. You like to troll me wherever I go and you get called out by other posters all the time now for it.
Do us all a favor and hush up most of the time. Arent you sick of being hypocritical? You have yourself admitted to being biased for dc and all I did was said that I liked Awave better. So I guess everone who says Awave was better is wrong and is a marvel troll.
You crack me up man. 😆 Focus on yourself for once and dont worry about my opinion so much. You will be a much happier person.
Annihilation took a lot of characters that I knew nearly nothing about (or had no respect for) and made me love them. Ronan the Accuser, Super Skrull, Drax the Destroyer and Nova, I had no idea who these guys were. All I knew about the two former was that they fought the F4 and lost a couple of times, nothing more.
Annihilation made me read up on characters and made me take an interest in a lot of them. We got to see a lot of herald level characters make an apperance, Red Shift durwoot, Firelord and Stardust. I felt that it gave a lot of characters depth, especially Super Skrull and Nova.
Fortunately, I didn't know anything about DC characters when I started reading the Sinestro Corps. After reading the first issue, I reread a lot of old Green Lantern comics as well as the Rebirth and Recharge, which ARE ****ING AWESOME. Marvel gambled when they did Annihilation, but people shouldn't blame DC for betting on a winning horse.

So he's a troll and biased because his opinion differs from your own? Thats ironic.
I do have a question though. What do you feel the need to constantly attack Quan?
Anyways, I don't prefer either over the other but AW was great.
I liked Annihilation quite a bit more actually.
They both used the whole "giant fleet of aliens attacks the universe" plotline but Annihilation had it dealt with by characters that normally get little screen time. I think the writing was overall about equal but the more novel use of characters in Annihilation was far more interesting to me.
