I enjoyed Sinestro Corps more, but it was partly due to the consistently good art it had.
Had the Entire Annihilation been drawn by the guy who did the Surfer mini, i would've loved it.
That, and if i didn't have a predisposed disdain of anything with alien spacebugs at the helm.
Sorry, but cockroaches that shoot laser beams really don't make me think epic......it makes me think campy.
I did enjoy the SuperSkrull, Surfer and Ronan minis, but i hated the Nova mini, partially because it's Nova, and mostly because of the horrific art.
And the Galactus butchery was enough to make my stomach turn....hooking up wires to a semi-abstract cosmic god??? It was really stupidly handled, and without reason.
That was worse than when Starlin(iirc) had him take off his helmet.

Problem is, Henshaw, SBP, and others are actually popular, and are tied directly with the biggest names of DC as some of their biggest enemies.Annihilus? Anyway... SBP has been almost a star if you will of three big events in DC. Annihilus has been in minor F4 stories.
Recently... of course. However, recently Nova, SS, Ronan, Annhilus were barely used in anything before Annihilation.
It's not really debatable who had more popular characters... the only obscurity in SC really was Yat... and while he sucks anus, AW had tons more characters no one cared about.
Of course... of course.
Zauriel and Creeper are tied to big names as well. It really doesn't make a difference.
Before the recent IC..SBP was used in like what...3 stories? Henshaw was known as a villain from return of Superman and hadn't seen action or use in quite a while. Sinestro was a joke.
None are any better known to the average reader than the MU characters you mentioned.
