The HV went through the side of WW's head. She turned it so that the beam enter in such a way to minimalize damage. But a blast head on should lobotomize her. Superman didn't try to use hv went he tried to freeze her. He could have blasted her in the neck (or face) with hv when

So even if she gets that 45 percent he still wins the majority, thats really the whole point. The issue here is that some peeps are trying to make it out like WW would win 7/10 or hell even 9/10. The point is regardless of how close the fight comes down to he always win...
