Yo i love the Robocop franchise. Talk about badass. How scary is the ED-209 when he growls? Lol. And talk about willpower on Robo's behalf. Fighting the system shutdown. The Robo characters get overlooked at times.

I love Robocop too. I used to pretend I was Robo as a kid...now that I'm an adult I wonder why would I wish to be Robo as a kid...ye know getting shot to death, rebuilt as a cyborg and all the other shit...but kids will be kids.
Yeah...Ed's growl is scary, and I ask myself why would Ed need to growl? As if looking at that giant robot with huge arm cannons was not scary enough. never the less I always felt bad for Robo when Ed was approaching him in that scene. And yes...Murphy's willpower was nice. I wonder if he would have been able to arrest the guy had Ed not come guns blazin'.

Yea, i hear ya. Sometimes for no reason, i yell "DROP IT!!". Even in Star Wars AOTC, Fett used the Robocop "gun twirn in the holster".
ED is easily the scariest thing in the Robo franchise. Every thing from the grown, even to his voice would meke me obey whatver law was out. I feel sorry for the poor guy at OPC. Talk about overkill. As far as Murph being able to arrest the guy if ED didnt show up? Good question. It would have been though. Real tough.
