WWH is tough!!! Thor in the past has hold back. Now that he does not i wld say this after the recent Sentry/Hulk throwdown, Both will not go down easily. 50-50. As a thor fan i have to admit that Hulk is a kickass now.
Originally posted by nvrbeenwthagirlNo here is why Thor didnt appear. It s becuz he just came back and they will try to establish him again. They established the WW Hulk in this saga and now want to establish Thor in his own comic since he has returned. You dont have this dramatic resurgence of a character to have him lose soon as he gets back. Common sense I thought.
Thor will NVR lose to WWH. That is why he was purposely left out. He is just all around better in every area except strength and durability. And that doesn't matter when he is still tuff enough to hang.
After looking at all they're fights, regular Thor and Hulk, Hulk takes it if Thor fights like an idiot and doesn't use the energy. When he does, he does better.
But with the non holding back Thor using his mothers powers and WWH, I say Hulk takes it IF he fights like an idiot physically. Possibly that is. Not sure.
But if Thor uses his energy powers he wins.

couple things:
1.) standard forum rules are CIS/PIS off, so Thor won't be "fighting like an idiot." Thor has a couple THOUSAND years of battle experience. Edge to Thor.
2.) Thor doesn't need "energy powers" to win. The strength feats alone of CLASSIC Thor still outclass WWH. destroying the eastern seaboard with a couple of steps?" that WOULD be impressive, If Classic Thor hadn't pulled the midgard serpent off the earth and threw it into space, nearly threw the planet off it's axis by ARM WRESTLING, Shook the entire planet and collapsed mountain ranges into dust with ONE HIT to Exitar...etc. And THAT was a Thor that was "holding back."
3.) Classic Thor had enough raw power and durability to stalemate freaking ZEUS for a month! Go look up Zeus, come back, and explain to me how WWH is stronger than a skyfather.
4.) Thor is a hell of a lot more durable than the Hulk is. Taking a full scream from black bolt might be impressive if CLASSIC thor didn't have feats like hanging out in the middle of the sun, or detonating nukes next to him just to "test his durability."
5.) WWH can be hurt, cut, whatever by adamantium. URU is just as strong. What do you think a hammer throw through the skull at lightspeed (which CLASSIC Thor can and has done) will do to the Hulk?
And that doesn't even get into what energy attacks like repeated lightning blasts (at twice the heat of the sun, mind you) or a full force god blast (one sufficient enough to almost kill galactus, etc) would do to the hulk.
Thor doesn't NEED to use energy attacks to win here, and his feats prove it.

Character Induced Stupidity, or CIS, on the other hand, refers to any natural mental limitations that characters impose upon themselves and reduce their ability to use their own skills and powers effectively. Unlike PIS, CIS does not occur because the plot requires it, but because the character is genuinely that dumb. Examples of the CIS-afflicted include characters such as Rhino or Jar Jar Binks. Events of CIS are not exempt from debates.

I'm a nice guy. I'm just going to give him a chance to read one of the numerous Thor respect threads where every one of those feats is documented Before I proceed to use them to "prove it" and ownage ensues.
Actually CIS is not off....Character Induced Stupidity, or CIS, on the other hand, refers to any natural mental limitations that characters impose upon themselves and reduce their ability to use their own skills and powers effectively. I see what you mean here- i tend to use PIS/CIS interchangeably. Rhino (or Creel, a better example) being an idiot isn't really CIS, it's just who the character is, and it's valid to assume they're going to fight like jackasses and not use their abilities to the fullest.
But when characters like superman just "forget" to use a speedblitz against a slower opponent, Strange "forgets" he has spells that can stop time and bust planets, or Thor neglects to fight like he has 1000+ years of experience of combat against superior opponents...that kind of thing I assume is off for forum fights.
good point, but there's no reason to assume Thor is going to "put the hammer away" or pull punches when this Thor explicitly stated he isn't holding back anymore.

He wants to tell me all that, so I want to see it for myself, not me looking if he wants to actually prove it. ๐
I don't doubt who wins know.
Ownage? lol. Funny.
Oh and I was wondering, whats more impressive, charging someone and hitting them so hard it caused tremors in other dimensions/universes or the Serpent?
The new Thor doesn't seem to have the CIS problem but there still aren't many feats yet to put CIS away for good.
I use CIS as this: Superman, Sentry, Captain Marvel and Gladiator rarely, if ever, go full on speed, flight, energy projection, etc at the start of a fight and this leaves an opening for slower and less versatile opponents to gain an advantage, or in the case, amp up all attributes.
Now characters like Black Adam in 52 or the recent showing by Superman Prime in Countdown would give Hulk much more trouble from the start since those two weren't holding back from the get go.
Hulk did have a good showing against Sentry. I will still give Hulk wins here, maybe 5/10 until Thor goes up against somebody>>>>Stark and abuses them.
