Hope has nothing to do with Jesus. Hope is inside of each of us.

Thus is what you believe, and I respect that. However, it is not what I believe, and I will not fear to vocalize my beliefs.

People can have hope in life in this life, but I see no hope in life after death without The Christ.

But even if they found the body of Jesus you should not destroy your life.

Anyway, allow me to restate:

If Cameron's work were actually valid, one could expect the anti-theists to leap on it. They haven't, so it's likely that it's not valid.

I agree. Jesus was a common name back then.

Even if it weren't, it doesn't conclusively demonstrate much of anything. Mary and Joseph could have easily had another child and named him "Jesus" in honor of Christ.

Yes, or there could have been other people named Mary and Joseph with a child named Jesus. They are all common names.

Age will take care of that. 😄

The DNA testing along with the statistical probability of the names and relationships of the individuals buried in the tomb coinciding with those of the biblical Jesus and his family is a strong inductive argument that this is the familial tomb of Jesus.

Meh... Age only makes me less enthuastic... or does it... I can't really remember... hmm...

It all depends on the path you are taking in life. I assume, based on what you say, and that you will continue, that you are on a good path. A good path in life will lead to enthusiasm.

I try to follow a good path, I falter, but I try.

That is all that matters.

So, Shakyamunison, What is the Nichiren Buddhist take on the Afterlife?
