galactus/darksied vs inbetweener/phoenix

who wins?

whats darkseid doing here? He gets crushed without anyone even noticing

team two

still team two

Team 2.

Anyone on team 2 is AT LEAST on par with Galactus.

Darkseid isn't in the same ballpark, isn't in the same league or isn't even in the same sport that Glactus and the two cats of team 2.

It's 2 on 1 and team one get crush.

I'm not sure what Darkseid brings to this fight??

Team 2.

Team 2 as Darkseid is a joke compared to these powerhouses.

Galactus could handle In-Betweener easily, as the first time they fought, Galactus actually was depicted as winning (he attacked in-betweener 6 or 7 times, IIRC. The entire fight was a cosmic boxing match, where if there were a referee, he would have awarded G more points than I-B) not to mention the fight occurred immediately after G was extremely weak from indigestion due to the elders of the universe.

The Phoenix Force...well I'd have to judge that on the competency of the host...the phoenix has been defeated by an event horizon and a "planetary scale" EMP.

When did this happen?

About a year and half ago in one of the X-books. I don't recall the name of the event. The event horizon shattered the PF into billions of pieces

When you say event horizon, do you mean a black hole?

No. The Shiar ship was specially calibrated to trigger an event horizon. I know event horizon's a generally associated by black holes but the issue specifically stated that an even horizon split the PF into billions of pieces. I don't have that particular issue-I quickly flipped through it at the comic store.

It occurred during X-Men: Phoenix - Endsong

They used it to force the Phoenix to resurrect which caused it to shatter (which only made the Phoenix confused and more dangerous), in the first issue of Endsong. They used it in the last issue thinking it would kill her and Phoenix stopped it with no problem.

Team two for the win

I think you're referring to a Planetary EMP,
which evidently is enough to demolish the almighty PF! 🙂

Xorn, killing Jean Grey ... and exploding the actual Phoenix Force itself!

(From the Official Marvel Universe Handbook 2005)

"Jean Grey was Killed by an Electromagnetic Pulse,

this shattered the Force into Billions of PIECES"

This incident involving Xorn & the Phoenix Force
was actually recalled by the embodiment of the Phoenix Force itself in "Endsong"

"I thought I was Dead, in a Billion Billion pieces"

Then again, you might be talking about another incident,
Phoenix has been owned so many times, I wouldn't be surprised.

ah well...Xorneto for the win then

The shattering was a result of the Shi'ar weapon, not what Xorn did. The Phoenix was not shattered until Endsong. There was no mention of having to find her pieces during HCT which was caused by Xorn killing Jean Grey. She was whole at the end of HCT as White Phoenix, then the Shi'ar caused a force resurrection which was responsible for the shattering not the stroke.

I just researched the relevant issues,
evidently you were right concerning the "event horizon."

The "planetary EMP" obliterated the PF into billions of pieces.

The Shiar "event horizon" shattered it,
don't know into how many pieces though.

Actually, the PF was weak, so weak in fact,
it was barely able to sustain a form without a host:
