I just got through playin Strider 2 the other day and I dare to ask...If both characters have their basic weapons and they duel, how the phuck is Dante gonna win?
Strider is just to fast. The guy is so fast he can cut his foes to ribbons, but to the human eye it doesn't even look like he moved. The man can teleport from outer space to earth. he can survive the Vacuum of space as if he were on earth.
Dante is good but Strider is just too fast.

This has been a long time coming. One of Ashley Williams' co-workers was obsessed in looking for the Necronomican
, the Book of the Dead. Bound in human flesh, inked in blood (and incredibly hard to pronounce), The Book was destroyed (finally!) by Ash following the last Deadite invasion.Instead, the co-worker found something that could be possibly worse: Lemarchand's box, better known as the Lament Configuration. Said co-worker unlocks the Configuration...and all Hell breaks loose...literally.
Pinhead and his Cenobites invade, turning the S-Mart into a virtual killing field.
This doesn't sit well with Ash. While managing his Housewares department, one of his pretty co-workers was ripped to shreds by Pinhead's hooks. That pisses him off plenty.
Pinhead is surprised when he sees one of his hooks blasted out of the air. The person responsible: a certain S-Mart clerk with a chainsaw for a right hand and toting a sawed-off double-barrel shotgun.
"Hoo..." Ash guffaws. "And I thought the Deadites were bad. You got them beat, buddy."
"Foolish mortal," Pinhead sneers. "I will show you the true meaning of pain."
Pinhead sends several chained hooks at Ash...who slices through them with his diamond-bladed chainsaw. Several of Pinhead's Cenobite minions also meet the same fate when the Cenobite boss sends them after Ash.
"Who are you?" Pinhead asks, obviously impressed.
"Name's Ash. Housewares," Ash replies. "And I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store, porcupine-head."
"You can try," Pinhead said "When this is over, we will have eternity to know your flesh."
Ash levels the 'boomstick' at Pinhead. "Know this."

it would have been harder for Obi1 and Yoda together to get past all the security and get to palpatine. howver for yoda on his own it was very easy to get to sidious and face him.also yoda needed to know that when he faces palpatine that anakin wont be there to interfere.

how does one quantify the level of flow in a rap song? what is the scale? what are the specific qualities of spoken word that make it flow as opposed to just talking?
People have tried to do this, with almost no success, in many other art forms. It is, imho, impossible to quantify these qualitative things.

More accurately, only recently have you begun to remember your dreams. We are always dreaming, even when awake, but we don't see them during the day for the same reason we don't see the stars during the day: the sun outshines them. So with dreams, our sensory perceptions and common mental activities outshine the subtler processes which we perceive at night and call dreams.
Interesting FYI: if I remember my psychopharmacology correctly, dreaming "brightness" gets turned up with serotonin hallucinogens (eg, LSD). The hallucinogen interferes with inhibitor neurons which normally keep dream brightness low.
This is why these drugs induce hallucinations: what you're seeing are your dreams while awake, outshining normal sensory and mental impressions.
