The Midnight Meat Train
The Midnight Meat Train
I enjoyed the short story immensely, but Baker's adaptations generally suck alot worse that Kings earlier movie adaptations. I'm still hopeful though. I dont know how many people will like the ending. The trailer is presenting it as a standard serial killer esque movie. The ending will come out of left field for most people. Im betting that any non horror or fantasy fans will appreciate it

that title sounds funny. It sounds like a name a guy would give his penis as a nickname.
Anyhoo, I saw the trailer when i saw Rambo. It looks half interesting. And cause of that i'll most likely not watch it at all, ever.
hahaha... much like xerxes from "300" nicknamed his penis "divine powers."
"it's not the lash they fear, it's my divine powers..."

was kind of waiting for someone to give some feedback since it was released in theaters ?
Has it really already hit theaters?
I've only seen one trailer for this movie and that was nearly three months ago. The only reason i saw the trailer is because i was surfing a horror site and clicked on "BARKERS NEW MOVIE". This movie is not playing at any theaters near me, but it has already been reviewed on rottentomatoes and several sites say it released on the first of august.
If it had released thats bullshit. I saw nothing on this movie.

It's a really good, little horror movie. It's brutal, bloody and intense. THe acting is par and of course the story is obscure. For the most part it is just like Barker's, short story.
I liked it too, Vinnie Jones is great 😄

imo, this movie looks dumb.
Did you watch it?
The whole time I was watching it I was thinking two things. I loved the near 3D blood - it was new and original and looked fairly cool. But I was also thinking how stupid the movie was and plot wise was going nowhere. I'd never read the short story before so didn't know what to expect, but when the 'twist' finally came, it made it a pretty interesting story.
Overall its nothing special but worth watching for sure.
I just saw this, I enjoyed the film. Only negatives was the rubbish CGI effects for the gore in some scenes(example, when he hit that Asian girl in the head with the mallet, terrible) and the very end scene. The atmosphere was spoilt by the
Spoiler:looking back at the screen right at us suddenly, they should have followed him and then the camera follows him choosing a seat to sit on and then it focuses slowly in on his face. That would have been a perfect end shot.
