Nice little compact truck, no reason to get some flashy vehicle, I don't see a reason anyway.
Maybe a Ford Ranger or a base model Silverado. Another vehicle that appealed to me was the Ford Focus.

It's your money, go with what you want, but you could easily get a less expensive but still nice vehicle.

Hard to imagine a little Ford Focus on the huge roads you've got over there.
There's something that doesn't make sense to me, it's people in America saying that it's expensive for gas. So it's what, about $3 per gallon? Here it's around £1.05 per litre, when converted into dollars that's about $8 per gallon. So there's a solution - gas isn't expensive if you don't drive cars that guzzle the stuff like mentals, there really isn't a need. When I last went to America I was amazed at how cheap gas was, while everyone else felt the need to rant and rave about the prices.
