That still wouldn't explain how it would penetrate his energy shield, AND his extremely hardened metal armor. You know, the armor 500 years ahead of his own. Also, his bones are coated in metal as well, making cutting through him even more difficult.
but we arent talking about reality{ive never claimed the existance of such a thing factually, it only exists in mgs and guyver, from what i know} we are talking about a fictional universe in which psychics and mystics exist, among other things. same with halo. so in this argument, it EXISTS. and the blade had no problem cutting through the legs of frogs, cheif cant be hardier than that. and yes fox stopping metal gear stomping down on him being hundreds of tons to begin with is greater than any strength feat of chief.

I did some research, and when I say this you are just going to say that I made it up, but I will state the fact anyway. In Halo 2, the Chief drags a 100-ton bomb. He drags with ease, and don't give me the whole he couldn't lift it, because lets be honest, there is no room.

chief was fired at by a quartet of 50 mm cannon chain guns, it wasn't exactly a missile more of a scorpion tank shell pretty much harder to swat those down than a missile especially considering it has a proximity detonation.
I'm pretty sure chief has speed if he can run a half kilometer in 17 seconds flat after being next to a missile detonation and having his achilles tendons tear
strength? he flips a tank while shooting a weapon with one hand, matter of fact he is a walking human tank.

Well, the Chief can flip an elephant in game, so I am sure one of those is about three time the weight of a tank.
Well, these are game stats only, so only game stats suffice. Going by the game, I say Grey Fox takes it. He was easily strong enough to kick a man into a steel wall and severely dent it. Sure MC is strong, but he's not as fast as Fox, who has rolled fast enough to evade machine gun fire, and is fast enough to run on walls. And his sword can possibly cut through Chief's armor because it vibrates at extremely high frequencies, which allows it to block bullets and cut through just about anything.

was grey fox ever standing in one spot dodging bullets? and chief has done it before if you're considering leaning standing in one spot
well grey fox was doing good against metal gear until he got caught and crushed, atleast chief would have a better mind to do something different then again he has an emp emplanted in his suit & a mini nuke also
btw its actually more of a canon forum unless he specified game only which he didn't, if it was game mechanics only I would probably give it to grey fox even though he was beaten by snake... but then again who knows what is going on with snake?

No, his sword can't actually. He has ballistic, as well as Hydraulic gel in his suit. You will NEVER be able to CUT through ballistic gel.
do you know what balistic gel is? its used in myth busters a lot, unless its a different substance entirely than what they use gf would easily cut thru it all it is is a fat based substance made to imtate human flesh, and yes gf has stood in one spot dodging bullets from the gun that shoots 100 bullets a second and also was closer and deflected bullets while in mid air from the same gun. with regards to fox losing to snake, fox wasnt trying to kill him well not exactly, if snake didnt fight hard enough he would have died but fox was timply fighting an old friend at that point

There are multiple types of Ballistic gels, you know.
I am talking about military grade that is used to help block bullets. It's hardened, rather than left flexible like in the ballistics you are talking about.
