Darkseid pwned an entire pantheon under his own power. Thanos couldnt even beat one god. Without the ig or the hotu, or some little scheme that will fail, thanos is below darkseid.

And if you're talking about HOTU... then he saved whatever you want to look at it. The universe, the multiverse, or the omniverse... the only thing debatable is on what level he saved it.

Joe Casey (the author of the instance in question) is of the opinion that Superman is one of the most powerful character in comic books. If he has a character say that he "saved the Omniverse," then Superman saved the omniverse. Period.
