In the brief moment before you move, Gabriel peeks out from behind the speeder. A volley of laser scrape the side of the speeder and he pulls back.

"Okay," Gabriel says. "GO!"

You run from cover! Roan starts out first, meaning the cultists are paying attention to the Jedi with the glowing lightsaber instead of the dangerous CorSec officer. Gabriel pops out and taps Carnival of Carnage, gunning down four cultists with rocket launchers with pinpoint shots!

He then refreshes it with a Fortune point and comes after you.

The last cultist with a launcher then makes things easier for you by putting one last rocket into the burning speeder and obliterating it in a pillar of flame. The smoke and fire obscure the shooters and you have made it to the tents, so for the moment... you are clear.

Book it!

If fired upon, I'm going to use Coordination.

You are running through the tents with Gabriel behind you, pushing past panicking civilians. You hear angry shouting nearby.

I'll go take a look. Might be important.

It is the Cultists- they are organizing to try and find you.

"Don't stop moving!" Gabriel hisses to you.

OH, well in that case. Keep booking it!

You manage to weave your way through the tents until you arrive at the front gate of the Garban colony! Where you are rather perturbed to find that the gate has been raised and locked. The CorSec officer that was on duty has been killed and is splayed across the ground behind it.

"We'll need to get that gate open if we have any chance of getting out of here," Gabriel says.

He points out the guard post- the controls are there.

The Cultists are waiting for you.

I can't just cut the damn gate open can I?

You could! It is a physical gate, not made of energy. It would take some time.

Where are the cultist? I'm wondering if it would be possible for Gab to cover me while I cut through the gate, or if it would just be quicker to attack the cultists and get at the control panel.

Gabe can attempt to draw their fire and trim the ranks, but Roan would still remain exposed while cutting through. It is Bodyguard for something like that, or Covering Fire.

That does seem like the best plan, so lets do that.

You will have to get through the cultists and start cutting then! Your Defense will be down while you do so. Is that okay?

Oh, I thought cutting the gate would mean i didn't have to go through the cultists. In that case I think the control panel is a better idea. Its in a building right? Less people shooting at me?
(I was hoping to avoid combat with my massive damage, I am such a damage magnet. All the damn time.)

Consider more Guards or defensive Blade Schticks, perhaps?

The guard post is small but it is a building. You will have to cross through the open briefly to get to it. Once there, you will be inside.
