The Superman DISrespect Thread
"Disrespect" is not quite accurate.
However, in a very real sense, this thread is dedicated to showings of Superman getting smacked down by opponents.
I thought of the idea because I sometimes engage Superman fans in discussion where his best showings against opponents readily get shown, but for some reason no one seems to know of any case where he is treated roughly.
I aim to reduce that imbalance, and welcome contributions from like-minded people.
I'll be using a website called "All You Can Upload.com" (AYCU) for presenting the majority of these submissions for my first run.
If I get the chance, I'll be presenting some of these through other Image Hosting websites as well.
I know there is a need to guard against loss of information.
For instance, I used to post through ImageHoop.com on another website.
They went out of business; everything I had put on their site up to that point was lost.
That was awhile ago, but I was reminded of how fragile these systems are when AYCU itself went offline for a few days for maintenance, though its performance had been stellar until that point.
I say all this to encourage people to take and download some of the better images here and send them through their own preferred Image Hosts and re-post so that people can enjoy what I have here for a long time to come.
I've long been a visitor of KMC, and liked very much the way it was FINALLY possible to see online showings of my favorite characters, and the only real annoyance I've had as a browser in the past was when whole banks of links suddenly stopped working or were eliminated.
Re-submissions through different Image Hosts should guard against that.
At any rate, I've collected a list of about 20-30 odd people/beings/whatever who have given/gave/give Blue a hard time.
I'll be following the general format of listing the opponents formal name, last name first, first name last, followed by their more common or better-known titles in quotes.
For instance, Batman is really a man named Bruce Wayne.
On my list, then, he would be entered as follows:

The one thing I notice missing from many Respect Threads is reference to the actual DC comics most of the submissions are taken from.
I think it is a mistake to omit this information, and wherever possible I will be including it after the links I provide.
Final note, I AM a junior member.
This is only my second day actually posting anything on this website.
If I am in violation of something somehow, please let me know and I will do my best to correct it.
Advice, suggestions for formatting, contributions, etcetera are welcome.

Subsequent posts will have each name on the list as an entry with a link or links to scan images, DC source material, any scan source material, and/or anything else I can think of that is relevant.
