Do you have a reading problem?

Ole Miss beat:
#4 Florida 31-30
#18 LSU 31-13
#7 Texas Tech. 47-34

Their other 2 ranked opponents they played well but lost to:
#20 Wake 30-28
#2 Alabama 24-20

Thats 5.

Oh also Florida had the #2 Strength of Schedule in the COUNTRY. USC was #40. You can argue the system is stupid (I agree) and USC might very well be the best team in the country (I may agree) But you cant argue the #'s because they are facts and they give Florida the edge.

1. Wake Forest is not ranked
2. LSU is not ranked

Apparently you have a reading problem, because I posted the rankings on the last page. Quote it and bold exactly where LSU and Wake Forest are.

The facts do not give Florida the edge, there are not facts here. Only your opinion. Strength of schedule does not take into account The Citadel. Neither does it take into account the strength of your opponents schedule, only their record. Is this not making sense to you? Because one would think that SEC teams are playing the system because it doesn't take into account the strength of your opponents schedule. So basically it enables them to schedule teams that have a good chance of being 'bowl eligible'. So in essence, schedule cupcakes, who have good chances of beating the cupcakes on THEIR schedule. It's like the opposite of a double edged sword. Their system simply doesn't contradict itself.

They are stuffing their schedules with weak opponents, who also stuff their schedules with weak opponents.

On the other hand, Notre Dame plays Washington, UCLA and Stanford, and all Pac-10 teams play eachother, not good for USC's strength of schedule.

As you can see by the #'s posted next to the teams names. I posted them based on the ranks both teams were when they played. Not what they are ranked when the year is over. If you beat a team when they are ranked you beat a ranked team that year period end of story. If at the final poll they are no loner ranked you do not lose the qualification of beating a ranked team.

Mighty is the prediction.

So apparently Greg Paulus has an official offer from Michigan to come (as a grad student with 1 year of eligibility) and compete for the QB job this season.

He has also been in contact with several NFL teams and other College teams.

Which dude is he in your sig?

the smallest one lol #3 in the middle

Wow.

*imagines being a captain picking my team for tackle football and picking #3 first...* Hmm, not happening. lol.

No offense to him, because the others probably couldn't run the wildcat formation with their heights.

To be fair he was the #1 QB prospect coming out of HS but choose to play basketball instead. He hold a shit ton of NY state high school records at QB, but its been a while so who knows if he can still do it. Granted Matt Cassel sat the bench all college and went pro so who knows.

Can he actually pick up Rodrigues offense and really compete for the starting job?

Apparently Rodriguez thinks so, and I guess that is all that matters. His main competition is going to be a true freshmen so its not like hes going against someone who has been running the show although Sheridan is there and is a junior but he hasnt shown much. He also ran a spread in High School although not nearly as complex. It definitely will be interesting to see what happens.

Yeah, you never know. Hope he makes some team.

But on the downside, who could forget that Drew Hensen had a similar situation. Thank God the Steelers didn't acquire him, like it was heavily rumored about 5 years ago.

Well getting a nationally covered game for Paulus's first start tomorrow at Syracuse tomorrow. Should be interesting.

I wonder what team will be mulled over this year??

Of course lots of good highlights tomorrow

Man, I wish Fresno St. and Boise St. would gome into the MWC. A conference of BYU, Utah, TCU, Boise, and Fresno is a pretty strong conference.

we had the same thing happen in our state, little known player Richard Mounce, the school's first ever football season and team and he led them with only 1 loss, 2nd season the coach violated some rules & they lost their chance for the playoffs at all and then the coach went to a different school but the guy still led the team to be undefeated.

He put up some good numbers, Passing & rushing. the guy got MVP out of our Shrine Bowl & whatever we call our bowl game instate, but he decided he wanted to play baseball instead though clearly he would be starting at clemson right now I'm sure.

Oregon suspends RB LeGarrette Blount for season because of a cheap shot on DE Byron Hout, after a game against Boise State.

Meh.

So. Bama v. Va. Tech! I got Bama, but I have them winning the SEC, so I have quite a bit of stock in this game.
