Far as I can tell, he said that his reflexes/battle speed > QS's travel speed, and that he was stronger than Class 2, and beats Thing if he has all of his equipment...
Seems what you just said was not an example of comic knowledge, but at least of twisting words, outright lying, and generally being a douche. So, you managed to show something.

Evangel's actually pretty knowledgeable, more then yourself (not hard to do though).

What? I have fought in the "big leagues" and done pretty good given how busy I was at the time.
But I could see where a tourney that encourages actual knowledge of the characters (instead of powerset) would scare you off and why a tourney where you ride the coat tails of others would appeal to you. 😉
