AnnouncementAlso, while I am not opposed to using wikipedia links, if the page or link doesn't give enough information on the character for me and your competitors to see and understand about the character, you will have to find another or choose a different character.
Some good websites for links are:
-Good List of the More Well-known Characters in Marvel and DC
http://www.classicmarvel.com/cast_list/all.htm-List and Bios of Every Single Marvel Character EVER
http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/appchar.htm-Marvels Main Bio Website
http://www.marvel.com/universe/-Marvel Dictionary for over 700 characters
http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/index.htm-DC bios and links for all DC characters
http://www.dcuguide.com/Who_Home.phpYou are not limited to just the above. I am just providing these above as examples. Remember if you choose a character you need a bio (or scans) that can show what the character is capable of for everyone to see.
Everyone be civil and patient. If there's a problem with a character's power level then link as much info as possible, and make a case in the draft thread of the chosen character.
I will do my best to check on everyone's choices. However, I can't know every character you all pick in great detail, so it on you (the participants) to check each other out and make sure everyone is following the rules. If you willfully let someone slip by with a character that is higher than the draft allows, then it will only you hurt later on because you will have to face that person in battle.

Well the rules said that ALL Gls were 6 points, but Mogo should have been more like 10-20 if you ask me.
Based off the link he gave me he seemed like 6 points. Almost all Herald characters can destroy planets, so if Symmetric Chaos wants to draft a 'planet' who is a Green Lantern I didn't really see a problem.
However if you wish to dispute that Mogo is stronger than the strongest Green Lanterns who fit the 6 point category like Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner, you are free to do so. Just provide some evidence like a scan or bio, since I am not completely familiar with Mogo.

Oh yeah, Ego has also fought two celestials. At once. Without being put down. If he's banned, Mogo should be banned.
He's kind of assumed to be the strongest, though I actually might be less scared against him than Hal or Kyle, only because his versatility/weird feats are sorely lacking. As I see it, Smurph found a great little loophole, but it's not something that gives him an insta-win, or even anything close to it. Just a good start.
Also, Ego feats don't count for Mogo.
He wouldn't get all 7200 GL's. Just the planet itself.
------------------
Correct me if I am wrong...
Personally, based off the link, I thought it was a regular planet that had some form of consciousness, and had a single Green Lantern ring and battery to work with. Just like any other Green Lantern, but just really really big.
Plus other Herald characters can smash planets no?
It re-assigns rings....it doesn't harbor all GL energy. That would be the OA central battery.
Is there anything (anything) to suggest it has anywhere near that power? As in, actual statements or feats in a comic? Or is it just paranoia in an attempt to get something banned? Because Mogo has 1 ring, has blasted some sh*t a few times, and is a planet. That's really his MO to this point in comics. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The latter.
However, it HAS been said that Mogo's personal store of energy is second only to the central power battery.
Of course, I paraphrase.

Indeed they have smashed planets. Sentient Planets (like ego)? no. GL planets? No, they can have a hard time smashing the people-sized GLs.
I could be COMPLETELY wrong...but
It doesn't seem like Mogo is on the level of power Ego the living planet is on. It says in the link that Mogo ran out of GL ring power and became dormant letting normal colonizing people mess up his surface and pollute him. Hmmm...any scans of Mogo doing something would be helpful at this point.
Anyway, that's all I have to say. Smurph should be the one defending his choice. Not me.
