I have a question. Apparently you cannot choose a character who exceeds 20 points correct? Does this include say a 5 person character who has a 19 point extra ability? With a combined total of 24 points would they be allowed?

Because if not, then how can anyone at all pick any of the higher priced items (seeing as all the 20 point picks get it standard)?

Yeah. Like I said, under this system Zoom costs more then Galactus.

You have to be more specific. I don't know which character you are refering to. What is this '5 person' character you are refering to?

EDIT: Also, you can only choose 10 and 20 point characters that are on the list.

I applies to tons of characters. Zoom for instance. Also Rogue.

But what if a person was not looking for a 20 point character. They instead wanted a LEGIT 1 point character, and a 19 point extra ability. Would they be allowed to?

Because if not, then no person would EVER be able to get the higher priced items.

Irrelevant question. Im just asking if the math works, do you get penalized for being over 20 points, if the without an extra ability character costs less than 20+

You can get Zoom seperatly or opt to buy his 19 point ability.

Zoom just happens to use Time Manipulation for his flash level speed. Therefore, if you want zoom, who uses time manipulation to achieve his powers, then you have to pay for time manipulation. Yes, it unfortunate this happens to zoom, but his sole power is Time Manipulated Speed. If anyone finds that price excessive there are plenty of other Flashes to choose from.

The tournament threads are only to be posted in by the participants, judges, tournament host and anybody Evangel94 deems necessary. Any questions regarding tactics, scans, characters, prep plans or remarks should be handled on this discussion thread or via a PM. Any clarification needed in the thread should be asked only once. I don't want a sub-debate by non-participants to get started while the teams are still actively debating. Anybody spamming the thread after being asked to stop will be dealt with on a case by case basis by the moderators at Evangel94's or judge's request. I would ask that if any socks or trolls act up on the thread that you place them on ignore and let PR, Tron, Rex or myself handle the problem and delete their posts. Thanks.
