I love how Metron hears about the up-coming end of the 4th world, and the deaths of everyone and everything he knows. And then his reaction is, as I think you put it best: "Ouuuu, can I watch?" 😂

After entering the Source with ST's help Metron recounts his experiences to Darkseid. Notably, while ST is overwhelmed (but not driven mad) Metron hardly flinches.

Also, Metron refers to very powerful SwampThing only as "the vegtable" despite ST's assistance (ego feat!)

Orion goes to Metron in order to solve a problem MotherBox is unable to. It's hardly a challenge. We also learn that the Moubis chair is keyed to Metron's aura.

Metron reconfigures the JLA teleporters to work through time:

The Worlogog is so complex that the incredibly advanced Hourman robot knows he will need an upgrade to understand it. Metron's understanding seems fine:

"The mother box is ten thousand generations more advanced than your most advanced computer . . . . one of the toys of new Genesis"

The blast from the Godwave sent a great number of heroes and Takion flying. Metron was so unphased that he kept scanning:

Just awesome bunch of feats. It culminates in removing Darkseid from the SourceWall. Among other things Metron creates so many duplicates of himself and his allies that the universe actually feels smaller to the ForeverPeople:

Not only is Metron a complete jerk with a rather flawed moral compass but he apparently spends some time perfecting that part of his character:
