Galan this thread is beautiful i've never really seen anything ST is capable of i am way surprised on how strong he is

And the Word is simply the physical manifestation of the first thing the Voice (God) uttered. He's considered Spectre's equal.

In the first issue of Kevin Smith's Batman: The Widening Gyre, Bruce refers to Swamp Thing as "A god. Very much an unbeatable God." (Italics his).

The Word was not beaten just by saying random 'stuff' backwards. srsly

Tefe literally cancelled him out by mimicking the exact opposite sound/vibrational frequency that was used by THE God to originally create the Word. She also had to assume a form capable of approximating/withstanding God's voice:
