Clearly. Though Adaptoid has never copied Mjolnir, so the Thor thing is a bit of an embellishment. I have the debunking ready already though, since there's flaws with most plans that are as insane as goober's on the surface.

It's a movie quote. Forget which movie though.

If you don't mind saying, I'd still like to know how confident you are.

Sure, np.
As with most prepared tourney participants, I like my chances. I realize my bias, so mine isn't exactly an objective opinion. But if goober tries the same thing as round 1 (or something similar) there's flaws with it, and I feel like my plan is far more defensible. But if he's content on making it an arms race with his giant army, I can match him in offensive output. For me, it's really just a matter of deciding how much I need to reveal to win....since I know this will be among my toughest matches, and I'll lose if I underestimate goober, but I'd still like to save something for later rounds.

Theres a scan somewhere that has Adaptoid using Mjolnir....vs Female Quasar? Or someone like that...

and I too thought that the adaptoid couldn't replicate the powerful magics of thor's hammer but goob had a scan for that, the power of the hammer is questionable but it could do it none the less.

It was the shape of Mjolnir, but without the enchantments. He can only copy Thor's physical stats.

Eh I'm dropping, not because I lost or anything, but because now all of Hector Hall's showings are invalid for reasons involving 'outside assistance'Essentially leaving me with Hulk who can use energy beams.

From jump Nabu QUICKLY takes control of the completely GONE Hector Hall and becomes World Breaker Nabu. Why’s this significant? Well, not only does Nabu have access to ALL of Kent Nelson’s spells:
Don't try to play martyr unless it fits, bud. You can use Hector's showings, but that clearly wasn't what you tried to do. It was only after you got called out on physically replacing Hector with Nabu, and using the spell caches of other Fate's, that you tried to backpedal and say that it was only the helmet of Nabu speaking to Hector.
Circle back and adjust the strategy and you can probably win some matches, but don't lie to us about what you tried to do. We all read the match.
Are you kidding? All of Hector's showings are a result of Nabu telling him the spell to cast. Without Nabu, Hector's limited to energy beams and flight, he even forgets spells when he tries to ignore him and needs Brainwave to help channel telepathy.
Now given that apparently having Nabu is 'outside assistance' why would I continue when anyone who's read volume 2 of JSA could argue ANYTHING I DO as based on 'outside assistance' and not 'Hector Hall Dr. Fate'
You want to see what Nabu can do in Hector's body?

That's right, he gets battered by Flash and doesn't even cause much harm to Hawkman using magic that is apparently beyond 6 points and he gets taken out by a bunch of low-tier Nabu less mages because he's still limited to the human form.
If you're going to disallow Nabu replacing Hector might as well disallow Hector's magic
without Nabu he doesn't know any.
I didn't 'backpedal' anything, the 'helmet' speaking to Hector is Nabu himself, not just the helmet. Previous Fate's were controlled by Nabu outright hence the helmet's never speaking to them, Hector Hall merely receives instruction from Nabu on how to use magic
Again without Nabu behind the wheel you can't even argue Hector Hall is worth 5 points.
I think you're taking this pretty hard Papa Smurph. You still have one win, and voting isn't over yet. Psycho Gundam lost two in a row, and he is taking it in stride. He could even still make a huge comeback in the last chance finale. Don't give up just because you lost one. If something didn't work in your first strategy, change your strategy and improve it.
The idea is to learn from your mistakes and move forward.
