Hey what about me. 😉

I won two battles! 😛

Face someone competent next time. That way I won't have to worry about facing your unstoppable might any time soon.

I'd lose to Evangel too. She picks decent but beatable people each time, but I'd likely have to extend myself too much to beat her.

Also, bumpage for this:

2. Creshosk (0-1)
3. id369 (0-1)
4. Papa Smurph (1-0)
5. darthgoober (1-0)
6. Symmetric Chaos (0-1)
7. Devil Lance (1-0)
8. TricksterPriest (0-1)
9. psycho gundam (0-1)
10. King Kandy (1-0)
11. Digimark007 (1-0)
12. SmurphSmash!(1-0)

Second Round

7. 1v7 (DL v Stark) - DL won the first round's closest match, and Stark dropped to 0-1. I'm not ready to count Stark out, but DL is the early favorite. A trip into Doom's prep goodies would do a world of good for Stark, so if he can form a good writeup he may have the debating chops to pull one out.

8. 2vs8 (Cresh v Trick) - Well, someone has to win. I'm just thrilled Trick is getting my sloppy seconds ( 😈 )

9. 3vs9 (id vs. gundam) - Two competent but desperate men will battle to remain alive in the round robin portion of the tournament. Early odds to id.

10. 4vs10 (Stacks vs. Kandy) - Battle of the tourney's best magic wielders (other than The Doctor, of course 😉 ), who both have strong amalgams. Because they are complimented with WWH and Flash respectively, this may be a classic strength vs. speed battle. Early odds to Kandy, but only slightly. Heavy odds on someone getting really upset before the end of the match, though.

11. 5vs11 (Digi v goober) - I'll refrain from comment due to my participation. Should be a good one though.

12. 6vs12 (Sym v Smurph) - Smurph will have to show up this week more so than last week to add another to his win column. Sym is out for revenge after a tough loss. Odds on Sym unless Smurph was holding a lot back. [/B]

chair Oh? Is that ...........

............a challenge? boxing

galan_braddock Naked Jesus says: Bring it on woman!

*raises a hand to point something out* Nah, forget it. He's more powerful than Jesus anyway.

Assuming Mungi joined to compete (why wouldn't he?) he should beat the tourney's most "receptive" team (Cresh), which puts him at 1-1, since he inherits Trick's record.

In other words, slight drops to all odds because one more legit contender is here now.

Also, I believe it's Mungi's first tourney. Let's welcome him into the ranks.

Edit quickly?

Probably true though. 3 tournaments at once has me debate focussed instead of the regular.

And I'm pretty sure this 3 tourney thing is some kind of record...

Are we counting ill's tourney as still happening? Because it's been at a standstill since before the drafts and such for these started.

But no, the most we've done is 2 at once, so it's technically a record....just not an impressive one.

Well... yes. There was and will be points where it's all three. Just not at this exact moment. And I've still been thinking about three, even if I haven't had the chance to do much yet.

I'm gonna pwn Red's tourney... 😈

Surely he'd be able to use it better them better than Pip and Drax.

not if you are facing him in a tournament, he somehow gets dumber

Everyone who came with a plan is holding back.

What's funny is that Cain Marko isn't even dumb, he's likely slightly above average if anything, comic misconceptions 101.

gundam, you keep insinuating that its others who don't provide reasons that you win (you've actually said it outright once or twice). The fact is that people have used the gems to impressive ends before, but you never found and/or used any of that to justify yourself in your match. Nor did you show or cite instances of Cain directly accessing his own gem's power (beyond the base-level upgrades that it gives him without him thinking about it). The burden of proof isn't on the voters to extrapolate for themselves, it's on you to show them why you should be voted for. Justification exists, but you instead just assumed that he would use them to their maximum potential, then were upset when we said he wouldn't.

Don't mean to be harsh, but you seem to be harboring a grudge with this whole thing, and I'm just trying to help.

Indeed. Just to echo Digi's sentiment;

The voters don't have to prove why you lost. You have to prove why you should win. I understand that you're upset at your loss, but take it as a learning experience and come back at the tourney twice as hard in your next match. 🙂.

no no...what I meant was, the force field was never taken down, his mind therefor is fine right. thats all i pointed out.

papa smurph won, thats fine its just that the "killing blow" is highly dubious.

Psycho Gundam vs id369....

Both participants have one loss, and both are reaching for victory. But only one can win and move on.
