On March 24, 2009, in addition to four new maps in the "Snowblind Map Pack" released March 31st; the update changes the ranking system to an experience-based system and addresses several issues with matchmaking;for example adding BOTS for people that quit or lose connection, while adding additional Xbox Live achievements related to the Snowblind maps. so far 2 maps have been officially announced these maps are fuel depot (a flashback map from gears of war 1) and grindyard

The new patch is great.

So far it seems to have completely done away with spastic two-piecing. People can no longer dive and immediately do a melee attack anymore, so it makes people more cautious which is obviously how the game was meant to be.

Also adding bats for dropped players is awesome.
