Vader's Secret Apprentice vs. Luke

We have all been exciting, well i have for Star Wars the force unleashed game where you play as Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice whcih is a character in EU. What if he with all the powers from the game went toe to toe against NJO Luke who would win

Luke.

We don't know enough about the apprentice, though anyone would assume NJO Luke beats him. What we know, however, is that the apprentice is extremely talented, he could be one of the best.

yes, what we have seen makes him promising, but against luke the most powerfull jedi in star wars history. he was able to defeate DE Sedious, of course with help from leia. However, this version of Luke if far more powefull.
The apprentice is powerful, but against luke he will stand no chance.

what the apprentice does in-game a.k.a what we do and how we do it with whatever powers we use while we control the apprentice in the game won't be canon, that is why there is a book coming out. So we will have a definite cannon source as to what exactly the apprentice does.

i know the gameplay is noncannon but take all the game powers against njo luke we don't know what if in the book he does all that

Wrong. It will be canon, my friend. That's like saying ROTS is not canon so that's why they wrote a novel of it.

And btw, we see him taking down a Star Destroyer on a trailer, not in-game. You can only change his Force powers and skills in-game, not the Force Potential of the apprentice itself.

Yeah if the apprentince could beat NJO Luke then there would be no Vader or Emperor by ANH.

Well, as far as we know, he may choose redemption, or maybe to cut-off his connection to the Force, or maybe he is killed. We'll have to wait to know it for sure., or maybe he is killed. We'll have to wait to know it for sure.

EDIT

I think their will be several multiple endings in the game. Lucasarts have said the apprentice is in EU so i don't think he would die some endings i could think of for the apprentice

1. He kills Vader and Palps and becomes The Emperor
2. Kills Vader and becomes Palps right hand man
3. (questionable with this one) kill palps and vader becomes your apprentice
4. escape with Juno (his love life) (True Canon i believe)
5. dies at the hands of palp or vader

but time will tell

mistake ending 5

that could be a ending but non canon

actully all the endings are noncannon except 4 which i am postively that is what will happen

Actually I can see him being killed by Vader or Palpatine. Palpatine may order Vader to do away with his apprentice.

everything you do in KOTOR is NOT canon because everyone can do it differently. same with force unleashed, what force powers you decide to use to do something may or may not be the same force power i use to do the same thing so whatever you do in game is NOT canon thats why there will also be a novelization

He's right.
The powers that he can use (pull, lift, warp + lightning) are Canon though.

good point man, but the only thing is lucasarts say the apprentice is a eu character so maybe he'll die in one of the endings but it won't be the true cannon ending

Yes, I didn't think about game mechanics, and true, those things may not be canon, but:

We see him taking down a Star Destroyer on a trailer, not in-game. You can only change his Force powers and skills in-game, not the Force Potential of the apprentice itself.

So, it is irrelevant. My point that the apprentice could be one of the best ever stands.

i believe the apprentice taking down the star destroyer is cannon cause it is the cover on the novel

Yep it is canon. But if there was ever a contradiction between the novel and a cutscene the novel retcons the cutscene imo.
