The game hasn't even been released yet. We saw the Star Destroyer crash in a promo trailer, not an in-game cutscene, so it's hardly a valid or - at this point - a remotely canon-supported argument. This can wait until TUF comes out and we can see for ourselves what he's capable of.

No, it's not. The picture of the apprentice taking down a Star Destroyer is used as the cover on the novel. It wouldn't make sense to use it if it was not canon, would it?

I do believe Hayden Blackman pointed out in an interview on Youtube that the Force powers demonstrated would be "fully incorporated" into the game, and specifically cited that the Force-combat with a Star Destroyer would feature.

all the powers that he uses are canon powers but how powerful they are in the game will more than likely NOT be as powerful in the novel because it's more fun to play a character that powerful.
and they would have the apprentice pulling a star destroyer down on the cover of a novel because it's appealing to consumers.
any way luke will win because it's NJO luke and i trust most of you here know how powerful and good luke is.
either way though i think we should put this thread on hold until after the game and book come out because right now we don't know enough about the apprentice.
