[B]Duke Nukem Forever was terrible, lol.

Not to me it wasn't

it was like playing some of the old PC games from the 90's.

I heard one beta tester hated the Wii U version and his comments on Reddit got removed for being too negative.

Yeah.....go **** yourself too

Getting a comment pulled from Reddit would mean it was pretty severe, with the kinds of things on that site.

Gearbox "Stole" From SEGA to Fund Other Projects, Claims Alleged SEGA Employee

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news-14210-Gearbox--Stole--From-SEGA-to-Fund-Other-Projects--Claims-Alleged-SEGA-Employee.html

So they just released a huge patch on pc for this game (4GB in size), and the word so far is that the AI, one of the biggest problems before, has been vastly improved. Aliens try to flank you and are more aggressive.

Concerning the consoles

. The recent Xbox 360 and PS3 patches had some of the changes we expect to see in the PC patch, but not all; the consoles will be getting the rest of the updates in the future.

personally i think Gearbox should'eve re-released the game all fixed up.

With the amount of inventory a lot of stores probably have left over, I'm not sure the stores would take it, tbh.

Hasn't stopped Ninja Theory's plans for releasing Ninja Gaiden 3 again

but i suppose its the way things are these days, All new releases have bugs/glitches etc....i'm wondering come next gen will this continue.

Of course it will. As games get more complex, the chances of things ****ing up will no doubt increase.

Then they should spend more time on it

we don't accept incomplete books or Movies, so why do we fall hook, line and sinker for games that do just that.

Because people are stupid, and they let games companies get away with it. Even with EA's ceo quitting, I doubt much will change.

I actually enjoy it despite all it's obvious issues. I also Pre ordered it so I could scream "game over man" with the appropriate character skin when things get 'intense' and I'm sure I'm going to die. Soooo..yeah.. Only regret that a little.. (kinda) can't stomach the single player tho.. Got to the part when you need to find a way past the turrent guns and just gave up.

So at Pax East Gearbox announced yet another patch that's supposed to do the following:

More aggressive AI
Tweaked difficulty
Better data protection
More combat feedback (Smart Gun Tracking, Xeno Death Animation)
Improved PC Visuals
Support for Hot Fixes coming online

Nice to see that they're working hard to make the game a better experience, but... I dunno. I think I would appreciate it more if they just came out and said "Sorry, we done ****ed up".

Played this for a bit today...

I'm playing on Soldier difficulty, and I'm dying a lot more than I'm used to in games, whether using mouse/keyboard or controller. There seems to be a shortage of health packs, and enemies do way too much damage up close for some reason.

I usually do just fine at games (even shooters), and I play most games on normal mode, so I dunno what's going on.

Well, bar the auto aim sucking balls with a controller, anyway.

I played some the other day and literally got my face raped twice which has never happened to me. Died alot more often and actually ran out of ammo and had to switch to one of the many guns I had in storage. My team AI still seems totally retarded so I'm Not sure if this is good or bad yet lol

The team AI hasn't shocked me yet, though it doesn't help that the Aliens seem to charge past my squadmates even when they'd be a more tempting target.

I hate that in games.

Call of Duty is a prime example of it. There is like a hundred people around me and 50 tanks and yet, everybody goes for me.

Yeah, same. I mean, I know it's to create a challenge for the player, but surely there are ways around it.

Also, the pulse rifle feels kinda weak, and it takes more rounds to put an alien down than I would like.
