so, he shot lightning at jacen then...still though, that makes about much sense as Cormac McCarthy
also misuse of semicolon, it's made to connect two complete sentences that carry the same idead

Yeah ok, what ever you say, the translated post is not the actual post, I just thouht it sounded silly and cool 🙂

Any way, no, he hasn't shot lightening at Jacen.

woulda been better if it was the romanization, not even sure if DB can ead the japanese characters, but it's cool

Yeah I agree, Roman-Japanese is the best.

if anybody is interested, i'm starting this up again, contact me to get involved

'bout bloody time too... 🙂 If I am allowed to be involved, I am all for it.

So a few of the players have returned, and with Unhosted slowly becoming more active I thought it was time to revive the great Unhosted Star Wars game.

Gentlemen, welcome to-

Star Wars: Galaxy at War

Indeed it does. (I hope)

I meant to restart things last weekend but I have been busy... sorry. Restart tonight if I can find my notes.

As a great mind once said: "When nine hundred years old, you reach, look as good you will not."

I'm sorry, what? You haven't been around much in the past year and a bit, where I have, so what gives 'you' the right to come in calling the shots?

It doesn't, and besides this is an unhosted game, meaning no one person is in charge, you certainly don't do it the way you just did.

Look smiley, we don't need to fight, but don't go getting cocky thinking you are superior or in charge of deciding anything. Your idea of restarting this is just what it should be, an idea... One that could be discussed. (and I would have happily)

Not an order as it was phrased. The way you put across your message wasn't jokingly, or any other such excuse... to me.

So in short, get a little respect for the other members of the forum (and this game), and be democratic.

Sorry everyone for the ticked off post.

Actually this is a star wars rp, outside unhosted, the decision of how it's hosted is on the creator. *double checks the page before* yep thats me. I wasn't joking.
Though you have been trying real hard too make it yours since you joined

I do remember you stating it was an unhosted game.

Like if you came into Hazmat and started taking things your way, so long as those 'ideas' were cool, I'd roll with it. You can think I wanted control of this game all you want, in the end I never took control, and in the last two years I've had about as much time to do so.

I only restarted it recently I guess to relive old and dying memories, and have some fun. I don't mind if it is restarted or re-set, or if even a spin-off game came up one that was based on the events but follows new characters later in the timeline, but regardless of what you think of me, you need to lay off being such a prick, dude.

Most of the reason I think you think I wanted control was that I came up with so many ideas back in the day, and some people liked those ideas but you didn't.

Unrelatedly-

I think the games biggest failing was the space combat, which as cool as it was, wasn't regulated, it was up to us to decide damage, and accuracy ect, and more often than not who posted his ships listing and badly damaged... F**king hell I am not going to argue with you.

There is no need to argue with you, you made a moot point and are being a prick about it. If you want to act like a child, fine. But don't drag the game into it. If you hate me, fine. That has nothing to do with the game.

As I have already said, if we can discuss the reset (and by that I mean, DB, Unbias3d, you and myself), then it would be great.

all of my wat

No reason to get your panties in an uproar, i didnt like a lo of your old ideas because they consisted of bringing in star trek or reusing exact characters and ideas from e books and obsessive want to build a super weapon, despite being explicitly not allowed and my oh my did you get hissy when i said no.

It's isn't about how i feel about you, it's not in me too be petty.
This is about me having never really having stopped rping these characters and i have come up with much to the point of them being pretty different from what was here.

Yes I did bring in Star Trek characters, but in my defence they only appeared rarely and in social settings (at parties like the christmas thing we did) and once before a battle where Data was mentioned and interacted with someone. And I personally never wanted 'MY' Alliance to have one, I wanted a major enemy for both of us to have one to give us something interesting to do for a while. You did the Ancient arrivals instead, and I rolled with that no problem even when three players said no, and I supported their decision saying that they should come later, but you never brought them back even after I made three characters for them :'😉

Remember we are supposed to have fun, I want to have fun. The Trek characters were basically my own entertainment (and a challenge for trying to get their characterizations right).

Dude, I just said you needed to get more respect in the way you 'order' things. You obviously didn't mind my suggestion of discussion because you moved on to attacking me with other things... so can we move past this and just get on with getting a new game going, or continuing the old one.

So lets move passed this.

Yeah i ignored those three who complained about the balance of power being tipped by the ancient, despite the entire point was to being in an actual storyline.
But again, i say restart. Im open too ideas but the decision is mine, even if i were to leave this, i'd only ever leave it too dangerousbeauty

the plot is that each person is the captain of a small fleet, whether it be a pirate, milatary, personnal army, smuggler, gang, whatever you want as a profession. the ships cant be in the super capital class, unless thats all you have. the fleet can contain at most 2 capital ships and 5 other large ships. you can be any species, and pretty much any lack of better word profession, which means you can be a smuggler to a jedi to a bounty hunter to an admiral.

the galaxy is at utter turmoil, every faction has split from each other, all the governments are at war. jedi and sith alike have to support what ever side they see right.
CHOOSE, your character, CHOOSE, your fleet, CHOOSE your side
i'll post my stuff in a little bit

This was unhosted, literally, from the very beginning.

So, seeing as my opinion matters, I would like it known that I would prefer to keep on keeping on, rather than start over, making everything I've done up to this point meaningless. I've put way too much effort into this to just start over because one person says we should.

Okay well... okay. *shrugs* I don't see what that has got to do with anything. But okay. Now I say again, can we move on, or are you going to continue?
