Mareek flew arround picking off the enemy fighters one by one "come on, zaarin put up more of a fight!" mareek taunted from his TIE-Defender. despite it now being an outdated ship, mareek had been among the first to fly a TIE-Defender and knew everything somebody could do with one, he carefully avoided any asteroid large enough to do damage, and avoided blasterfire, the whole thing reminded him of when he had to clear a laser-mine field while taking out a squad of interceptors, he managed to come out of the fight with minimal damages to his own interceptor. mareek grabbed the last x-wing (in its squad) with the tractor beam and destroyed it with his quad-linked laser fire, then broke off to shake a new x-wing from him, he was surprised that the pilot had some skill and does a break to avoid some firing ~he's taking on Eris~

The X-wing broke into a roll and Eris pushed the fighters nose down after the TIE. "Sithspawn!" He tried to gain a solid lock while staying out of the tractor beams angle of locking. He knew TIE Defenders well, good craft with strong shields and weapons, with fair maneouvering abilities. He also knew that once those shields were gone, it was just another Imperial box in space. He suppressed the trigger and loosed a quad burst before switching to recycle and he began firing weaker lasers. Commander Eris watched as the Defender absorbed two bolts before it performed an aerobatic.

"This is the Imperial Star Destroyer Kaiber to all Imperial Alliance forces, mine field proven effective. We are moving out of the mine field."

"...requires assistance." Juion wasn't sure if he should leave the Ship Yards defencless.

"Is the ISD-III I complete?"

"Everything but half its ion connons and its TIE fighters, sir."

"Stock and staff it with my personal crew. Do it now and then move eight squadrons of X-wing's to the hangers and then prepare to launch."

The junior officer saluted. "Sir!"

jaft godan crutched and limped his way down the tunnel on hoth. he listened as the cieling shook from the planetary cannons. the large group he was withwere silent as they carried equipment with them. his assistants, dan garson, and folt hynge. they carried an extra load each because jaft was unable to.

a breach appeared in the fire swords aft hull. the section was evacuated and the airlocks were sealed. the ship turned and fired into the right hanger of the lucrehulk class battleship.

On Hoth ground Commander Heston Zafrix watched the battle overhead on the tactical holo. "Target that Lucrehulk with two of the heavy turbolaser anti-orbital cannons." The base reverbrated as the the cannons fired. "Start a sensor sweep of the ice fields. Hopefully we will spot any ground landings and counter them."

"Yes, sir!"

PA: "Prepare for ion discharge. Ion cannon 1. Fire..." The entire ice caverns shook. Troopers rushed passed the techs in the hall. Orange and gray sporting pilots headd for their fighters and speeders.

the 6 vengeance-class ships pounded the hull of the Firesword causing more (allbeit smaller) breaches as the lucre-class that was being pounded crashed into the star destroyer. the keldabes leeched the Firesword's shields (one wouldnt do it, but the 3 of them would) as the Reaver's mass drivers pounded the surface of hoth. the 3 aggressor class ships used thier main weapons to bombard the planet while the smaller weapons attacked ships arround them. the two remaining lucre-class ships hung back and launched fighters

jaft watched as the last of the pilots left to their fighters. he wondered if they were winning.

morcon watched in glee as the right hanger of the lucrehul exploded in a brilliant white flash. it seemed as though they had one, but the battle was only half over. the rest of the lucrehulk had somehow survived. it stood asd though a giant testiment to a dying way of waging war. morcon grimaced. "i want that thing out of the picture now!"

~it crashed into the stardestroyer~

the avenger aimed its cannons at the keldebes. one by one, they exploded in white hot flashes of turbolaser energy. then, the dreadnaught turned and blasted away the damaged lucrehulk, finishing it off, once and for all.

the fire swords klaxons wailed as the crew abandoned ship. morcon ordered his men to start the self destruct as escape pods went screeching to the surface. a troop carrier went swirling out of the hanger and morcon watched his ship from his own escape pod. the ships theremo nuclear bomb, combined with an ion bomb, caused massive destruction. the ion bomb ripped the energy from the ship lucrehulk that had rammed it, then the 2 ships roiled into a massive fireball that went screeching through space towards the reaver. seconds later the collision would destroy them all. the reavers only chance was to temporarily change its course, making it impossible to shoot the planet.

the avenger appeared over the reaver fairly quickly. its boarding craft flew down into the reaveres hangers as the avengers tractor beams held it in place. stormtroopers took hold of the hangers as space troopers landed and perpared to cut their way into the bridge through an escape pod hatch. they began cutting. the laser cannons on the avenger shreddeed any starfighter attempting to rescue the reaver.

morcons escape pod landed in a valley near the others. the crew went to a to a cave opening where troopships flew in. the cave led down to the main bunker. he followed the large group of survivors. half his crew had died from reentry and enemy bombarment fire. noone spoke so it was as quiet as space. the only audible sound was turbolaser bombardment, repulsorlifts, engines, and footsteps. not even the outside wind was louder. as the last survivors enterred a blast door shut behind them, and magnetically sealed. the only light now were from the illumiglow lights on the cave wealls. they were few and far between, but there light made the cave bright enough to not trip.

The shiels operator quickly adjusted power to compensate. Eight ion blasts left the planet and four shots hit the Reaver followed by six turbolasers. The Reaver immediatly lost its shields and weapon controls and was hit by four laser blasts. The hull buckled and armour plates stressed, small ruptures formed along the surface. Then the last two planetary blasts hit and the bridge exploded followed by multiple systematic explosions. Suddenly the Reaver lurched forward and crashed into several Lucre-class cruisers. All exploded and the Reaver broke into three pieces. Debris and fire painting its remains.

Eris threw his stick right and forward, then decreased throttle and zipped underneath the missile and came up and around behind the other. Loosing a torpedo at the TIE he then rotated and kicked his thrusters up to full again heading around after the Defender. He fired his lasers. Then rolled to his left while keeping the nose of his craft pointed directly at the enemy. He saw a bright flash as the Lucre-class cruisers and the Reaver collided. "Red two. Your needed over at the Kaiber. I see it coming our o the field.

The Kaiber fired its light lasers at the passing fighters, saving the turbo's till another ship came along.

Eris corkscrewed away from the tractor beam array and fired several leaser at the shields there and again. The shots penetrated the TIE Defender's weakened shields, destroyed the tractor beam and tore some hull before the shields returned.

((hey, watch it. my troops are boarding, and i have guys on there bridge. anyway, if the reaver was destroyed that would kill big ehs guy. hold fire and edit your post. teamkiller.))

a squad of spacetroopers clambered through the escapepod airlock. they fired blasters at enemy crew. their shoulder mounted grenade launchers destroyed computer terminals and video screens. one trooper yelled out" clear!" and moved to open the main bridge door. it opened, and the large armor suits just barely managed to squeeze in one at a time. "surrender or die." a crewman turned and raised a blaster but the spacetrooper used his laser to kill him instantly.

(well next time inform my ground commander. Because your troopers are boarding wreakage or caught in the explosion.)

Ion blasts lanced up at the Kedables(?) and missed but the following turbo's caused large armouts of shock wave aided damage to their hulls and shields. One Kedable exploded.

The Kaiber came out of the asteroid field and was immediatly enguaged with the Mandor shipping rights. "Get those Sheild leechers off of us." Turbolasers, and heavy turbo's lanced out at the offending and stealing vessels.

((really your ground commander should be able to see. a super star destroyer floating right above another ship is kind of hard to miss. anyway, if we have friend or foe transponders, you would see my ships boarding the enemy vessels on your tactical holo display (similar to the one used by count dooku and the geanosians in the spire during the battle of geonosis in episode 2) which is how you tell your cannons where to fire from a cave. so no, we arent dead.... yet. im planning a big cataclysm at the end of the battle that will wipe out my ssd. forever.))

the avenger shifted and pulled to hold the reaver in place as ion blasts scattered along its hull. captain eson stood on the bridge smiling in triumph. morcon had done the wise thing, but still 2 lucrehulks remained. and the only purpose for lucrehulks was to control battle droids. general gren had long awaited the day he would get clearance to build his own droid army. his contact in the remains of a droid factory on geonosis was prepared. the factory had been cleared out and renovateed. they were even expanding it. all gren needed was permission from a grand admiral . he had recently sent a request to vassisk. he feared that soon, his fleet would be destroyed by jacen. but eson stood straight. "we will not let this foolish jedi win."

the space troopoers stood there, staring at jacens back. they waited callmly for a reply.

jaft sat lay down on an emergency blanket in the core room of the bunker. nearby his friends sat and talked in the crowded cave. captain morcons ships crew had just recently arrived, and he had been carrying a broken arm along. he was now standing near the ground commander and some officers at the hologrid, his arm in a makeshift splint. he was a nice man, who would only be replaced by the most cruel of captains had not gren refused to exchange. he was now discussing ground tactics and what the status of the tanks and walkers was.

"good eveniung ground commander. i believeyou require assistance since the planet is close to full invasion." morcon smiled, grimacing slightly from the broken arm.

gren watched as streaking stars turned to white dots like he had remembered. with geoin at his left and daren at his right he stared at the death star looming in the distance. "holy force." his eyes widened as contact with vassisk resumed. he could just see vassisk fleet a few kilometers away. "so vassisk, is this what you needed us for?"

Vassisk grimaced and took several moments to reply. "Yes. We are still out of their sensor range but," His hologram flickered into place. "they will soon spot us visually. Gener- Admiral Jalos what do you think. This planet is a vital take both resources and tactically wise. The Death Star will pro..."

"Hoth is under attack, sir!"

"...bably cau- caus- Hoth?! It appears that we have more at stake here than I first thought. Lieutenant transmit to Hoth our coordinates uncoded and inform them to leave Hoth immediatly... try and draw the enemy away from our frozen fortress. Let our ground base weaponry take care of them if they do not persue."

"Yes, sir!"

"Sorry Admiral, now, any thoughts on th-"

The Moff looked at the faint energy readings of Imperial-class ships that were scanning the fleet above the planet Hefran. Out-side it was raining and hundreds of thousands of droids and Stormtroopers marched, worked, patrolled, trained and piloted vehicles through the ominious city streets. TIE fighters shrieked through the air above in patrol patterns and even higher was the gray sphere of a Death Star. He grinned and opened a channel to one of his many SSD's. "Greet our... guests."

Admiral Dref Fadian strolled across his bridge to accept the communications from the Moff. (All these characters are free use and can be used by all RPers even the Death Star... and the Moff. Be the enemy.)

jacen laughed at the space troopers "boarding a mandalorian cruiser is the stupidiest thing you could do," jacen said as he heard the many warriors kill the other boarding troops with blasters. jacen turned arround and saw a brilliant pink glow behind the spacetroopers "before i kill you, anything you wanted to talk about?" jacen asked the space troopers.
