The Incredible Hulk

hmmm, I'm still not really sure what I think of this version. I think the first action scene for starters wasn't nearly as good as the reviews made it out to be. Maybe I was expecting Casino Royale levels of epicness but oh well. The ending battle though was just awesome.

I don't know though, there wasn't really a plot. It seemed like I knew the whole movie from the trailers, because you know somewhere along the way that Roth (forget the characters name) would eventually become the gigantic genderless abomination, and that the hulk would... well you know.

I think I'll go watch Ang Lee's version in a bit

Ed Norton did a great job as Banner. The Hulk looked good. It was th other stuff that looked cheesy like the helicopter. At certain points you could tell it was too CGI. The scene where he attacks the milkitary at the university is dope was tight. Rest was lame. I laughed everytime when Hulk pwned the supersoldier guy. Liv Tyler was kinda weak giving some of her lines. But I laughed throughout the picture, particularly at the poor script so i din't think it was good. Especially after viewing Iron Man.

If you don't like a movie, fine, but to say there's no plot is silly.

And yes, that's precisely why you don't sit on the internet watching trailers.

well yeah there was a plot, just not a very good one IMO. then again what the hell was I expecting going out to see the incredible hulk? and I didn't say that I didn't like it. I'm not really sure yet to be quite honest

Wha? That was an excellent plot!

people don't know what they are talking about though, if they ever picked up one of the comics they might realise the plot of the movie was brilliant

A superhero/comic book adaptation movie is never going to be The Godfather with regards to plot.

That's why I don't understand critics who go in and say shit like that. Iron Man's plot wasn't exactly million layered.

-AC

I also don't understand why the 2003 movie gets so much hate. I rewatched it the other day and enjoyed it so much I even found myself repeating some of the lines. That movie wasn't horrible, it just had bad pacing. As for this movie, I think the main reason people are nitpicking is because of the last movie as none of the reasons I've heard for this movie being bad are acceptable.

Yes, thats true, but I think the reason I liked Iron Man a bit better was because I didn't know what was going to happen at the end. It had better character development, plot twists, etc. In the Incredible Hulk, I walked in knowing exactly what was going to happen throughout the movie.

I'm not saying its a bad movie, but I'd probably give it a 7/10 instead of Iron Man which gets a 9/10

Well, I've read the comics, so I knew what was gonna happen with Iron Man. Doesn't stop it being good.

-AC

A 7/10 seems pretty good to me lol

I personally like it more than iron man

not a whole lot more but... yea

Seen both Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. Iron Man is way better. The Hulk had a lot of low points. Liv Tyler was ok, not great, but ok. Heres to the Leader being in the sequel.

I don't see why people think Iron Man is so much better. It's good, but TIH is better, and more enjoyable. Well, it was for me. I'd give Iron Man a 9.5/10 and TIH a 10/10.

I'll give reasons for ya.

-Horrible story.
-Completely inaccurate in every single way(the dad's name wasn't even right, for God's sake, plus Hulkzilla, Absorbing Dad, and so on).
-Stupid villains.
-Poor soundtrack(excluding 'Set Me Free', which wasn't even in the movie, and is a good song)
-Odd looking Hulk.
-Annoyingly mopy Banner.
-Extremely annoying comic panels(using it once or twice is ok, but they might as well have used them while Bruce was making a friggin' sandwich).
-Awful pacing.

Feel free to add.

Yeah...anyway, I relooked at the movie and didn't see any huge flaws with it besides David Banner being the Absorbing Man and the ending fight.

I say that they're both on the same quality level for different reasons, giving them equally 10/10s.

We can bring a Mod in here if you're going to be an ass.

Stop being a little b!tch, Stewie. I'll tell yer mom...

I thought the first Hulk was alright, but I can't really be bothered to watch this one. Iron Man was fun, though.
