I claim to know a lot because I do know a lot. I'm not about to try and agree with you on me not being a fan & not knowing anything because the fact of the matter is that I have read plenty of Hulk comics and I have nothing to prove to you because you're someone who just talks crap over the CP. Again, there are more forums than here and the people you hang around aren't the only people in the world. There are tons of people who refer to him as A-Bomb. I've just start referring to him as such.
I saw it and it was an ok movie, i liked it better than the ang lee's version, but not so much more. I liked it the same than iron man.
The plot was correct, but with some plot holes. The performances were good, specially Ed Norton's. Tyler was weak and Hurt was ok, but a little too over the top sometimes. Roth was solid, but the character was underdeveloped. I think that the samuelt sterns/leader character was better developed than roth's emil blonsky. The action was correct, the fx was so so and the final match was good, but it could be better. Not a fan of the abominaton's look in this one, too much swamp thing for me. The hulk himself was well made in some scenes and too false in other scenes.
In general terms, a correct and funny movie.
Correct? There were masses of deviations from the comics, what are you talking about?
Also, Abomination looked too much like Swamp Thing? You're aware he'd have looked a lot more like Swamp Thing had they gone with his original look, right?

With all due respect, you don't know the first thing about Hulk, so your disappointment was more based on not being educated in the character.

Just watched it today. Definitely different from the first. More "dark" and violent to a degree. Was kinda slow to get started as far as bringing out the Hulk, but we saw more "action" with Banner, if you want to call it that. To me it may not have as good of a re-watching value as the first one, as far as wanting to buy the dvd when it comes out. I would say Hulk's strength factor was probably less than half as much as on the first one, and as already mentioned, healing factor less too. But it did make for more realistic fighting. Leaping ability almost non-existent on this one too in case anyone cares. By this point probably most people have seen it anyway.
Well, there were hints to the Hulk's leaping ability, such as when he ended up in Guatemala and when he arrived at the cave with Betty. Honestly, the reason he was depowered was because Bruce reduced some of the gamma radiation in his body. Even though Louis was trying to go for realism, it didn't seem like it at all, which made the experience even more fun. Honestly, I liked him being depowered, but I wouldn't say his strength was less than half of the first movie Hulk's strength. If we rated them on a scale, I'd say that the '03 Hulk was at a class 100 while the new Hulk is probably at a class 70 or 80.
