Correct? There were masses of deviations from the comics, what are you talking about?

Also, Abomination looked too much like Swamp Thing? You're aware he'd have looked a lot more like Swamp Thing had they gone with his original look, right?

First, when i said correct, i said that the plot was ok, but with some holes here and there, i wasnt talking about the differences between the comics and the movie. For instance , i think that Roth was a good villain but his motivation and the developing of the character were weak. The samuel sterns/ leader developing and motivation were much more better.

Also, not, this abomination looks more the swamp thing than the abomination from the comics. In fact, the abomination from the comics doesnt look the swamp think, is more like a reptile.

So, you misused the word "correct"?

The redesign of A-Bomb looks more like Swamp Thing? What are you looking at? He looks nothing like Swamp Thing.

He's not called A-Bomb, A-Bomb is a totally different character.

His nickname is Abom, if anything.

Marvel seems to agree with AC http://en.marveldatabase.com/Richard_Jones_%28Earth-616%29

Besides, is it really too much to spell out Abomination?

In the comics, Abomination clearly looks reptilian. But in CGI he would look a lot like Swamp Thing unless they really hit the reptile thing home.

But then everyone would be bitching about him looking like the Lizard or Godzilla.

I dont know why that guy is calling A-bomb to abomination. Never heard about that A-bomb thing, i always have knowed him as abomination.

For clear more the things, here is the abomination from the comics:

Here is the abomination from the movie:

And here is the swamp thing:

I think that the movie abomination has a strange resamblance with the swamp thing. But really that isnt very important. I preffer his reptilian look from the comics, but this one is decent.

Im glad they didnt give him lizard ears in the movie.

He looks virtually nothing like Swamp Thing. And if I please, I'll call I'm A-Bomb, especially when I'm on another forum full of people who use the nickname and don't care. Get your head out of your ass, Centauri.

As far as which look I prefer, I kind of like the redesign a little more. There's nothing wrong with the comic look though. I actually think they could have him look more reptilian in the next movie. What I see happening if they do that is General Ross having people experimenting on the Abomination who ends up further mutating.

Atleast just call him Abom then,

it's a bit dumb calling a character a name that is someone elses.

it's like calling Superman Batman!

I'm seeing the swamp thing more than Abomination.

That's factually not his name, though. So why intentionally say it? You know it's not his name, and it's the name of an actual other character.

Besides, it's never been his comics nickname. IF ANYTHING it's just a name that randoms call him, so you're being a sheep. There is a character called A-Bomb who looks like and is similar to, Abomination. They are not the same, nor has it ever been an official nickname.

Sheep? If you say so, pal.

So, was everyone here satisfied with the screentime the Hulk got in the new movie?

I was,

obviously it would have been nice to see more of him,

but I still think it was pretty damn perfect.

Well, assuming the full 70 minutes of extra screentime we're getting on the DVD isn't just for the human character, we could end up getting an extra 10 minutes at the most from him.

and a glimpse of cap 🙂

Yep, we get a full on silhoutte. I also want to see the scenes between Doc Samson & Bruce. Ty Burrell should've had more screentime.

Less of Hulk is more of Hulk.

It's more impactful that way.

-AC

I think it's more impactful for whatever kind of story they're going for. Honestly, I'd like to see World War Hulk translated into a movie which would have more of the Hulk in it than Bruce.

A-Bomb? Are they serious?
