Where did you get that information from? Because the Abomination has always given him a good fight. Hulk doesn't give pity shots. He acts like it's hard because it is hard. It took years for Hulk to flat out beat him, and even when he did, he still struggled. It was in the new millennium did Jobbernation show up.
It took him years to flat out beat Abomination?
I swear he did it in Tales to Astonish #91. Battered him to the point that The Stranger had to take Abomination away. Abomination beat him the first time they met, his next victory was a very cheap, arguable one, and then Hulk emphatically put the man in a coma, then beat him again when he came out of it. Not sure where you're getting "Took him years." from.

They fought many times before that issue, and I sure as hell do not remember "The Stranger had to take the Abomination away less he was beaten to death".

Abomination had the upper hand when he was new, and stronger. He's always been an imposing and devestating enemy that Hulk has always regarded with at least a bit of respect, as in, he doesn't act like it's easy...though it is, really. Hulk has just out evolved him, but it was an excellent choice to have him in the movie and not kill him off, I think.I really enjoyed the fight.

We need a new version of the Abomination...something new & fresh for the comics that takes him back to the dominant status he once had. They did a good job on him for the movie though.
The Blonsky/Hulk fight was superbly great. Blonsky clearly had the upper hand and the Hulk even realized this when he gave that "oh ****, this guy is stronger" look on the rooftop. But as per Hulk's abilities, as the fight waged on and Hulk became more distressed/angry, he out-powered and beat his ass like a redheaded stepchild. True to form.

LOL at "The Stranger". Things don't mean the same things that they used to when they came up with those names.
I'm going to look up evidence for what you're saying...
You do that, Dadudemon.

Abomination beat Hulk the first time they fought, Hulk beat him many times after that, fairly also. They fought to a lot of no-contests and Abomination did get an additional win or two.
I would normally chalk it down to hazy memory, but to say it wasn't until the new millenium? That's flat out revealing that you've probably not read half as many Hulk comics as you claim, sir.

It's obvious that Hulk's beaten Abomination a lot, but fairly? Every fight I've ever read between them, Hulk struggled with it.

Or maybe that explains to me that it's you that hasn't. 🙄

...and indeed, I did.
I found something that makes AC pretty much right (as though we doubted in the first place.)

So we've gone from "It took years for Hulk to flat out beat him, and even when he did, he still struggled. It was in the new millennium did Jobbernation show up.".
To "Oh, wait. Hulk HAS beaten him a lot, but it was a struggle all the time, and not always fair."?
Clearly I am the one not reading enough comics, Toku. Oh, absolutely.
Abomination had the Hulk's number the first time they fought, he was an unexpected foe. Hulk has had his number for decades since. Where you got this mythical idea that it's always been hard for Hulk and that it has only been "easy" in the new millenium with some shit version of Abomination, I'll never know, cos that's just about the entire opposite to what has ever happened. Any regular, long time Hulk reader knows this. You didn't, two plus two ain't 98.
I'm not gonna make a big deal, but I'm just remembering the time you claimed to have forgotten more Hulk comics than I've ever read. Funny.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm talking pre-jobber(pre-I-lose-to-everyone).
Seriously, do you even know what I'm talking about?

How does that make it right? Oh wait, it doesn't.

Abomination's debut was Tales to Astonish #90, he beat Hulk. Hulk beat him in the very next issue, and subsequently never really lost the upper hand in the feud, as documented in the comics and just about every site that chronicles Marvel history. Doesn't LOOK like it took years. It looks like it took...an issue.
So why not just admit the wrong and back down? Do you have evidence contrary?
Do you have evidence that suggests...no, proves, that I am wrong?
Your original claim was that it was ALWAYS hard for Hulk to fight Abomination, and that it took MANY YEARS for him to flat out beat Abomination. So can you prove this?
In reply to the above post, how does it prove me right?:
"However, Banner grew so excited that he became the Hulk and smashed the weapon's controls, causing it to shut down before the Abomination's strength had been reduced below superhuman levels. The Abomination's strength was left at the level he has possessed since, which is greater than that normally possessed by the Hulk, but which the Hulk can exceed upon becoming sufficiently enraged. The angry Hulk attacked and defeated the Abomination. The Stranger, watching from afar, was so impressed by the heroism of Banner/Hulk that he decided that there might indeed be hope for humanity. The Stranger transported the Abomination to his base on another planet, intending to use him as an agent in future endeavors.".
That is Tales to Astonish #91. One issue after Abomination's debut. You'd know this if you read it. Since then, he has beaten Abomination many times, putting him in a coma after one of them. One of them involved beating back the advances of Abomination and Rhino at the same time. This was pre-millenium, by the way, this was back in the day.
I'm waiting on that proof, unless "Pre-Jobber, I lose to anyone." Abomination was the one issue that he debuted in.
