Moving on, what direction do you guys think they should take General Ross in? Personally, if someone as good as Ed Norton could write it out, I'd like for General Ross to become a gamma creature but only temporarily. What could happen is in one of the movies he could somehow get a blood sample of the Hulk, which he uses on himself. I don't know why, but I like the idea. I guess it's because it'd offer something new for Ross as opposed to the whole "find him and destroy him" scenario. I love seeing that, but seeing this idea would be something new and cool...to me.

It'd ruin Ross's character. The one thing that might make such a massive deviation work is if he gained mutation through an accident. He'd never use it on himself.

Indeed. I'd see Ross, at times, sharing interests with Graydon Creed more than I'd see him transform himself into a disgusting beast like the Hulk.
But didn't Ross eventually get super powers of his own? This shit is so hard to keep up with...so many stories.

Well, he wants to replicate it so why wouldn't he in this version? Keep in mind that this version doesn't want the Hulk dead. But, I do see your point indeed.Didn't he become Zzax at one point?
THAT'S that name! It was Zzax!
*googles Zzax*
YES! It's uh comin' back, now.
Here it is...

Because he can theoretically use others to create that. That's why he used Blonsky, in the movie.
He knows it works and is useful. So why not just get others to do it? He'd never do it to himself.

True, it'd be better if it were accidental. Also, another villain I forgot to mention that we could use would be Ravage. Now there's a guy who hasn't been featured in many comics at all.
I never really liked him. He was the same old "Powers of Hulk" villain that was done much better before him by awesome foes like Maestro and Abomination.
Ross becoming some sort of mutant would be poor writing. He's great as he is, a man possessed; bent on capturing/bringing down Banner/Hulk, no need to **** with that.
Though at the end of this movie, it seemed like he came to terms with it, so not sure what they're going to do with him in part two.
The Leader would be the next logical step and a great villain for the Hulk, with a combination of Ross thrown it.
A combination of the Abomination being thrown in would be even better. Honestly, if Blonsky doesn't learn to transform at will, it'd be interesting to see how they'd handle all of his scenes featuring a CGI character. Also, I'm really hoping that this movie at least makes close to $300 million. If it does, there's a bigger possiblity of them sinking more money into the second movie which would mean even better CGI than before.
Saw The Incredible Hulk today. Definitely a better movie than the first but not a shut out. The battle scenes lasted longer here, and there was more action. But I wanted to see major army firepower. In the first movie, the Hulk handling those tanks was outstanding. This Hulk didn't even leap to the roof of a building.
I also liked Sam Elliot and Jennifer Conelly better. But again, overall, this was the better movie.

Good to see you enjoyed the film. And for me, it's a toss up between Sam Elliot & William Hurt, both did a fantastic job.

LOL, dude, that was talked about in length already in this thread. I could have sworn that I was the first to point out "The Leader". I was one of the first to see the film if not tied or first. I saw the opening midnight showing on the east coast........couldn't get any newer than that, right?
However, it doesn't matter who was first, I'm just being an ass.
