Why the f*ck did you make the same thread twice? How did it fail? There were a lot of replies and then it died down cause nothing more was needed to be said. Threads die, get over it. I have made I don't know probably 40 threads in 2 years here and I doubt any of them are even on the top page still.

Edit: Except that one I made jude a few days ago. One user responded. It was real failure, unlike your other thread like this. But did I make a second one? No. Also, links were posted in your other thread to other Boba vs. Jango threads. We don't need the same thread 20 times.

Okay, I did it again not because no one posted, but because it turned into an argument over if it should be deleted. Sorry if this is kinda pointless, I thought forums could be more easily removed. Fine, next time, I'll just keep it dead.

Anyway, Jango and Boba are kinda cool, but I really hate Boba's long cape. You'd think that for someone who'd move around so much, he'd trip or something. Jango's armor and weapons are cooler

boba would. he has dueled vader with a saber and has simply killed more jedi.
I always thought that that lightsaber duel was non-canon.

Please... please, don't triple post. Use the edit button.

jango's cool. boba is okay, but he did fall into the rancor pit. He didn't hav much of a heroic death... (I know.. *He escaped...* That's only in the EU)

Jango takes this.

He had the balls to go up against Mace. That deserves points in my book.

Young Boba stalemated Mace... 😖hifty:

so it still happened and it is still CANON

IMO Jango would win because he's the father

Boba's done more impressive things. Plus he has that LOTF author riding his nuts. So he wins. If he's in trouble, he can just have her write up some more bullshit to empower him.

Boba went up against Mace (though it was a stupid thing to do) and went up against Vader.

They set fire to each other and share a touching and slightly camp farewell.
I don't know....... Jango. Gut instinct

I know, but seriously, some of the "canon" in Star Wars is ridiculous. Seriously, Lumpy, Chewy's son? The crying mountain that is really an animal? Max the bunny rabbit that has a gun? A creature named "Macemillian Windulius"? Really?

oh and I think the Vader/Boba Fett saber duel WAS non-canon

the boba/mace encounter isn't really noteworthy, imo. and while boba may have done okay (being extremely generous there), against vader - he was ultimately dominated. point being: i think those instances (the latter especially) have been hyped up way too much throughout this thread.

meh, i have no opinion on who wins, but imo those two encounters aren't a good way to gauge... anything, really.

Boba is everything that Jango is, and then some. And i believe that he has a few more weapons in his arsenal, doesn't he?

from what i've seen [in comics at least] jango seemed to have fairly stagnant battle equipment, [ie. he used the same weaponry against pert-near every opponent he faced]. and while boba still had his standard equipment, he seemed to 'pre-analyze' opponents to a more in depth fashion. he'd then arm himself accordingly with the appropriate gadgets/weaponry, based on who he was going up against. imo, boba was the more tactical and resourceful character, of the two.

You don't call stalemating Mace Windu to the point were they were both "about to make there final attack" at the age of eight noteworthy?

which battle are you talking about?

"After being escorted to Coruscant by Governor Tarkin, Boba finally acquired his one and only chance at Mace Windu. Boba followed and waited for the Jedi in the Supreme Chancellor's chambers, of all places. Boba engaged Mace Windu in combat but could not kill the Jedi Master. The two stood, battered and wounded, each ready to deliver a final blow with their weapons. The fight was actually halted by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, before either one could make a move. Boba was surprised to learn that the Chancellor already knew that Dooku was Tyranus. He also knew that Boba would hunt down Mace Windu, once he arrived on Coruscant. "I believe we share a common enemy," the Chancellor told Fett. Palpatine paid Fett for his information and told him never to speak of their conversation again, an agreement that Boba wisely kept. Then the Chancellor sent him on his way. "

That one. He did that when he was eight. The fact that they were both ready to "make there final blows" and were "battered and wounded" implies that even if Mace was not trying to outrigtht kill him, he was hard pressed to even defeat him.
