Ron Paul can still speak. McCain needs a month for a sentence, though, admittedly, the US population is into senile leaders.

Just commenting on the fact the Ron Paul is very old AND very wise...fits him much better than McCain. I wish we were ready for a Ron Paul-like administration. 🙁

Amazing arguement backed by statistics, facts and quotes.

Gee lord xyz you have the wisdom of a 6 or 7 thousand year old man, I am truly impressed.

You don't really need to argue that point, anyone willing to deny it, is either clinically retarded, or agrees with me, but wants to prove that I have no evidence for my claim.

True, Reagan was like late 60s, in the UK we call that dead.

This is totally going off track of what I wanted to do with this thread. I'm requesting it to be closed.

Re-opening thread in hopes of reigniting discussion.

Go McCain.😛

I've decided...the black guy.........what's his name again... 😕

Most likely, Bush-like policies.

Why not? He now says he'll have the troops home by the end of his first term in 2013, Lady Dahdy in chains and a functioning Iraqi democracy.

Senate
*These are not all the Senate races this November, just the ones CQ Politics lists as "Races to Watch"

Alabama - Sen. Jeff Sessions - Republican Favored

Alaska - Sen. Ted Stevens - Leans Republican

Colorado - Sen. Wayne Allard (retiring) - No Clear Favorite

Georgia - Sen. Saxby Chambliss - Republican Favored

Kansas - Sen. Pat Roberts - Republican Favored

Kentucky - Minority Leader Mitch McConnell - Republican Favored

Louisiana - Sen. Mary Landrieu - Leans Democratic

Maine - Sen. Susan Collins - Leans Republican

Minnesota - Sen. Norm Coleman - No Clear Favorite

Mississippi - Interim Sen. Roger Wicker - Republican Favored

Nebraska - Sen. Chuck Hagel (retiring) - Republican Favored

New Hampshire - Sen. John Sununu - No Clear Favorite

New Jersey - Sen. Frank Lautenberg - Democrat Favored

New Mexico - Sen. Pete Domenici (retiring) - Leans Democratic

North Carolina - Sen. Elizabeth Dole - Republican Favored

Oklahoma - Sen. Jim Inhofe - Republican Favored

Oregon - Sen. Gordon Smith - Leans Republican

South Carolina - Sen. Lindsey Graham - Republican Favored

Tennessee - Sen. Lamar Alexander - Republican Favored

Texas - Sen. John Cornyn - Republican Favored

Virginia - Sen. John Warner (retiring) - Democrat Favored

As I've said before, I think some of these picks too conservative. Dole, Cornyn, and Inhofe are in more trouble than most places have noticed or are willing to admit.

Governorships
*As above, these are not all the Governors' races coming this November

Delaware - Gov. Ruth Ann Minner (term-limited) - Democrat Favored

Indiana - Gov. Mitch Daniels - Leans Republican

Missouri - Gov. Matt Blunt (retiring) - No Clear Favorite

Montana - Gov. Brian Schweitzer - Democrat Favored

North Carolina - Gov. Mike Easley (term-limited) - Leans Democratic

Washington - Gov. Christine Gregoire - Leans Democratic

What do the dashes (-) mean?

Just a separator....

That's very close to the spelling of "Serpentor", ala the Cobra Emperor. You fail becaue terrorism wins. A Terrorist Organization determined to Rule the World". Hillary '08, I guess.

See how silly it is? I mean, really.

.....riiiiiiiiight

The lesser of 3 evils. 😛

Trust me, he's not my first pick.

But I'll vote for him, a conservative who is pro-life (except in cases of life of the mother or rape/incest), pro-family (he won't sign a constitutional ban on gay marriage, leaving it up to the states, but worked in his own state to keep it between man and woman and have civil unions instead) and will appoint conservative judges to the supreme court. (though often labeled as an "independent maverick" his actual voting record throughout the years is pretty conservative)

He's tough on terror and has actually been IN a stinkin' war (and held prisoner) which is something I think we should require of all presidents, really.

He's got years of experience with foreign diplomats and was right all along about the surge policy in Iraq.

He can't do jack about the economy, but lets face it: Neither can the dems. Nobody can, until we get off of being dependant on foreign oil. Dem or Rep, the next Prez should focus on alternative fuel sources and make us the prime exporter of such technology.

So he's got some positives, and he's not the friend of terrorist William Ayers, nor the parishioner of hate mongering Jeremiah Wright, nor married to a woman who's just now become proud of America, nor a lapel flag pinless non saluter during the pledge of allegiance. 😛

Just kiddin', that stuff means zilch to me. (but it will have a BIG effect on certain voters in November, you watch)

To me it's more experience: Obama has none, McCain has tons. At this point in the country's history, I'll take that over empty promises of "change" with no real plan of how to get there.

Ha, I love how you equated rape with incest.

Was Reagan in a war?

How was he right on the Surge Policy in Iraq?

And why does everyone say Obama has no experience? He was an Illionois state senator, he's a national senator, and his voting record is excellent; that depends on your views really.

John McCain is a deluded old man who thinks the world will be peachy keen in 4 years, while simultaneously telling his "cunt" wife-trollop she wears too much make-up.

That being said I don't particularly like any of your candidates... and don't expect any big changes from any of them. Lobbyists run Capitol Hill.
