I don't think they own the candidates.

Nor do I personally "own" my friends, my country, my planet or my sunshine, my only sunshine. Is this some sort of exercise in banality? Or put more frankly, don't be a retard.

Primaries in Kentucky and Oregon today will decided the challengers to Sens. Gordon Smith (R-OR) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

Also, the nominees for Oregon's 5th Congressional district will be decided. Rep. Darlene Hooley (D) announced that she will be retiring from the House at the end of her term.

Obama could get the 2025 target needed!

The Libertarian Party nominee has been decided; by a close vote, Former Republican Representative Bob Barr (GA) will run for President on the Libertarian ticket. It's possible that his candidacy will draw some votes away from McCain in Georgia (or other states) and allow the Democratic nominee to be more competitive in certain states.

Bob Barr sucks.
