Give me a break. That guy got smoked at the end of his shift and was clearly going back to bench.
And he was clearly taking his time, instead of hurrying so somebody else can get on the ice to help break powerplay. Maybe he was rattled from the hit, but I doubt it because he looked fine once he got the puck.

I saw it different.I saw a guy who got smoked into the boards, get up at the end of his shift and then start skating towards the bench.
Yeah, and add that to a substitute defensemen who had no idea where Malkin was when the Flyers continued playing fumble-puck AGAIN at the blue line.

and Malkin is going to be on of the best players to play the NHL in my opinion. I think he's turning out better than Crosby, and I think he will overtake Ovechkin too.
I think he is already better. I know it will take another season or two to see how prolific he really is, but already it is apparent that he has the puck handling, vision and shot power. Crosby is a finesse player with probably better vision and puck handling. Even though Crosby's benefits will come from his setting goals up, he lacks the shot power for long range goals. Most of his goals will come either from deking out the goalie or capitalizing on deflections. Crosby is no slouch when it comes to size or his ability to be a 2-way player, but Malkin has the intimidating size and seems to be a natural 2-way player. I think these two players compliment each other well. If Pittsburgh can keep these two natural leaders they could be a powerhouse for years to come.
oh yeah, and....,fuk philly. The orange crush is nothing when it cant be seen in the white out. 💃 😆

I think Crosby gets alot of shit for his lack of scoring. He doesnt have wicked shot like Hossa, or a sniper but he can score goals and alot of them.
Eh. He's, what, something like the 4th highest scorer in the playoffs? And led the league in scoring last year, and was something like 3rd-4th this year, right? I actually haven't heard any detractors. But I can't really see what they have to criticize him for.
And hell, assists are just as valuable as goals. Lemieux made his name as one of the best ever on assists (or the best, to some of us). He could score, obviously, but his thing was making the players around him better by creating opportunities then setting them up beautifully.
....
But agreed with Malkin. His potential as an all-around player is just as high as Crosby. His raw skill is nearly as good, and he's more of a force on the defensive end. One could easily make the case for wanting to build a team around him before Crosby. But I'm happy to have both in Pittsburgh.

Just a tad. Just having both of them will make the Pens contenders for the next 5 years if they keep them together. Add Staal, who is the perfect compliment to those two, and Fluery who is starting to shine. Yeah, as a Leafs fan, we're always ****ed now.
Too bad they dont have a killer defenseman prospect. Somebody like Jack Johnson, or Eric Johnson would of been great.
Digi, in the land of hockey, there is alot detractors of Crosby on how he doesnt have the goal scoring touch. I just think he passes more than shoot but the shot against NYR that won game 1 in that series shows he can fire it when he wants too.

Ok, Ok, Ok.... I gotcha.Goodell can be very persuasive you know.
I might not hold out during interrogation. He might make me watch a Cardinals vs San Fran game without Patrick Willis in it.....I dont think I could take that.
Or maybe just replay the famous missed Romo hold.
Actually, I've watched every Pens game since the Ottawa series (3 of the 4 weren't televised here).
Bottom Line: I can't take any more of these NFL Network "Chargers vs. Cardinals 2005 Week 7" Replays!!
